Well, but this is not the issue of biological concept, it is about the indetity of the people and how they feel. I think there is no big difference when transpeople ask to refer themself according to their spiritual gender and when an otherkin want to be refered as to some other specy. It is the same. So, maybe some otherkin would be offended if he or she will be refered as human, and probably hurt his or her feeling. Otherkin seems to be the next evolutionary step after abolishing gender indentities.

Transgender people have neurological similarities with the gender they identify as. There is no evidence that otherkin have those kinds of similarities with the species they identify as.

It is my opinion that Transgendered people, are, for lack of a softer or more PC word, deranged. If you are born with a penis, you are a man. If you are born with a vagina, you are a woman. Both sexes have societal norms that, like many other societal norms, you are expected to deal with if not conform to. I simply fail to see what is the problem with this.
Now, don't misunderstand me. I still support transgendered people and call them their pronouns and stand up for the with the LGBT community. But do I understand it? No. Do I think it's okay for society? Not really.

How do you know they are human? What definies humanity at all? But if we use your premises as true than maybe animals can also get rights as well. I mean, the right to own property if they are consciouss enough.

But animals aren't conscious of property in the same sense that humans are. If otherkin have that concept, that is how you know they are human.

I straight up said I don't understand trans people, so there. As for people with physical differences like the cases you mentioned, I suppose exceptions must be made, but those cases are so rare that they don't really matter on a societal level.
