I doubt people even had any idea that the transgender community existed back when they began worshipping Native American religions in America (many of which are based on such a belief) or when stories about werewolves started appearing in Europe. What I understand from your post is basically 'oh no Illuminati' to me.
For thousands of years, people have thought 'oh, I have something in common with [object/animal]' and/or 'I wonder what it would be like to be [object/animal]' intentionally to sabotage you in the future. No other reason.

Considering that there wasn't a transgender community as vibrant as we do now and Tumblr wasn't a thing, it's a pretty stupid comparison to make it a mockery. The ideal has been around for centuries, and even now, native Americans pratice "Two spirit" where they are both male and female in terms of identity and religion.

I'm also going to put out that, even as a "otherkin", that I usually don't act like a deer. I identify as a deer, but I'm not going to act like a deer. I'm not going to be asked to be called a deer, it pretty much my own little secret that means somewhat little in my life of charades and games.

Exactly what I'm trying to say. This massive Illuminati time-traveling conspiracy is nonsensical.

To be fair the actual use of the term "Otherkin" is fairly recent as in 20th century recent. As I understand it it's more like thinking your soul is literally a supernatural creature, It spawned from the LotR fandom (which obviously predates the internet) as far as I know. Animal totems/spirit animals aren't quite that from what I understand of various shamanistic religions.

Otherkin is a name to which I have no fucking idea who came up with it. I don't know, pulled it out their ass? It sounds stupid, to be honest.

However in such shamanistic religions, such as some native americans, Youth hunt and kill the animal, skin it and declaw it, put it all in a bag, and it becomes his medicine. If he loses it, it's irreplaceable. However this is also practiced in West African Religions.

Yeah, just as much as continuing the use of anything is mockery to it. What, are we suddenly a shame for any community we're a part in?

Well, you clearly didn't realize that before I pointed it out since you compared the two.

First black are outraged LGBTs are comparing their activism to the Civil Rights Movement, and now LGBTs are outraged that... wait, are Otherkin actually trying to start up a political movement to gain recognition or this is just the latest acceptable version of Die Furfaggot ranting?
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Did you read the post in its entirety or did you just focus immediately on the "Die furfaggot" part without trying to contextualize?

Otherkin *term*. The concept of spiritualistic tutelary deity and identification is completely different. I'd hope you'd know.

I guess not.
