No, it isn't. The concept of the soul is that there is an immortal life-essence that represents human consciousness and dwells in the body. Someone who believes in souls doesn't actually believe that they are a soul, they believe that they are a human and that their actions will determine the future transference of the soul. Hindus believe that behavior determines what whether they will be reincarnated into a different caste, but they don't believe that they functionally are a soul. Christians believe that behavior determines whether their soul will be sent to heaven or hell, but they don't believe that they functionally are a soul. The soul isn't a being in and of itself, it's a metaphysical reflection of humanity, which separates it from, say, believing that you are a wolf in a human body. Otherkin aren't just people who believe in spirit-animals, they believe that they are animals, but in human bodies.
