Weirdest Dream or Nightmare?

Postby Gig em Aggies » Sat Jul 04, 2015 9:27 pm

Describe either your weirdest dream or nightmare you had when ever in your life in detail if you can remember.

OP: One I had last night goes like this to the best of my knowledge

I was walking through Kyle Field as a short cut to get to a building but then a lady stopped me and then a guy came in asking why I did that and I remember telling him I don't give a damn and walking off which then he proceeded to chase me but then I lose him and make it to an elevator with biometric hand access I then come into this room with a bunch of people on computers after that I get on a computer but don't gain access I then slide down a ramp into a room and I immediately come under assault by grotesque spider/man/xenomorphs creatures a kill two of them with a 15 round pistol I then pull myself out and I find out more grotesque creatures made it out how I don't know I don't even know what happened because I woke up.

Weirdest if I can remember was involved with some form of mass murder. I think I started burning people alive with flamethrowers.

I'm not proud of my dream :/

Both a while ago, so I'm slim on details save those that stick out.

One, way long ago, in an old house in a line, the line is going through a medal detector where there is a super bored dude just sitting there in a chair looking down at his feet as people pass through. I notice that there is a wire across the bottom and I think, "Well shit. I'm stepping on that to see what happens."

The detector goes off.

For whatever reason this distresses me and pretty much everyone. It apparently means I have to be sent somewhere I don't want to go, which I guess leads to some begging. Eventually the dude says "Alright, you can go back. You just have to eat this cake." Big white generic cake, eat it with my hands, wake up. Convinced that was some sort of afterlife 'judgement' at the time, I was going to religious schools and having a hard time reconciling the whole thing...but there are so, so many threads about that no need to go over it here.

The other, shorter (wait, you can see that, this is text...). I was in a mafia/street gang with Brian Dennehy (disturbing thing, I just used the google bar to spell his name, one of the top searches? "Brian Dennehy net worth"...what the fuck people?) involved in a power struggle over red and blue shampoo. That's all I remember.

Shit, now I want to know Brian Dennehy's net worth...

I had a series of dreams once where my whole body would be paralyzed, and then either I would start accelerating towards something incredibly fast or something would start accelerating towards me incredibly fast, and when it hit me I'd wake up. Oh, and another time I was running from a spider that kept getting bigger and bigger, while I kept getting progressively more paralyzed.

Oh shit, that reminded me, for a while anytime a vampire would show up in my dream so would a yellow 1977 Honda Civic which I would use to dispatch the vampire with by driving over him. So that in my mythos of vampires, their weaknesses include holy symbols, garlic, sunlight, stakes to the heart, and yellow 1977 Honda Civics.

My nightmares tend to be reliving of dark times in my life.

Weird dreams: I had one one time about going to China with a group of friends and not finding my passport. When I finally did, I had to race to catch my flight, and when I was able to board, everyone on board was dressed as different sized versions of Rilakkuma, a San-X character.

I was like, 5. Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert were on the tv in a split screen talking about something. Jon peeled a banana and mashed it on his face, in our house there are book shelves behind the couch, and on one of the shelves was a toy dinosaur, Who then yelled out "FISH".

I once had a dream THAT ONE DAY BLACK MEN AND WHITE MEN JEW AND GENTILES PROTESTANTS AND CATHOLICS WILL BE ABLE TO JOIN HANDS AND SING IN THE WORDS OF THE OLD NEGRO SPIRITUAL FREE AT LAST FREE AT LAST THANK GOD ALMIGHTY WE ARE FREE AT LAST that I joined some political simulation game created by some Australian man who wrote books and its forum was full of liberals and an increase of younger players during a certain time of the year where most of them are atheist and sympathized with Nazi Germany.

It's a good thing I woke up, though. I seem to have been having this dream a lot in the past six years.

Lots of weird ones, mostly reliving past experiences. Things I've done and seen etc. I also have lots of lucid dreams.

I haven't had any lately though.

One of my weirdest went thus: I'm in school and suddenly everyone starts laughing, there's going to be a tsunami!?! So I say ok and then I'm called to the office and my deceased dads there, anyway he runs off because there's a tsunami coming, but he runs straight into it and then that's that and everyone's just floating round school!? And all the corridors and rooms are full of water and it turns out really fun. I jump onto the roof and jump off and the water disappears?? And I do that thing where you wake up feeling like you're falling. I don't know, it was a roller coaster of emotions.

I had this weird one a while ago. I was being chased by this zombie through the deserts of New Mexico and I climbed over this barbed wire fence and fell down into the dust on the other side. I turned, looking back at my pursuer, to see a rotting face and eyes that stared at me, with a mask of preternatural calm, behind which lurked wrath. It was oddly terrifying. There have also been other weird ones, but I'm not sure they were as ominous as that.

I had one where I was with a group of friends walking down this dirt path and we crest this hill and look off in the distance to see what appeared to be a stadium. On either side of this path lay giant billboards on the side facing towards us it says welcome to heaven so I go round the other side and see it is actually hell I tell my friends but they don't believe me they then proceed without me and walk past the signs they soon realize their in hell and that the stadium is just satans torture palace.
In short my dream or nightmare was about how me and my friends were dead thinking were trapped in hell and trying to make it to heaven but I was the only one who saw that we were in heaven all along and my friends being impatient and oblivious end up in hell

I keep dreaming dreams lately with fucked up math. Like, 14/17 is 44% and shit like that.

I usually forget my dreams pretty quickly, so I can't really share any hair-raising wake-up-in-the-middle-of-the-night dreams, even though I've had a few.

Last night I dreamt that one of my friends dated a dolphin before dating his current girlfriend. They cuddled up and slept under a blanket in my front yard. He showed me how they always slept face to snout, and that he and his current girlfriend only slept with him facing her back. I don't really know how time worked in this dream to allow him to talk about his current girlfriend while the dolphin girlfriend was right in front of him and he was still dating her. The dolphin at some point became some sort of underwater vehicle that looked vaguely like the hover vehicle the battle droids drove in Star Wars Episode 1, but was blue and silver. Apparently he finally met his current girlfriend and felt like he couldn't keep dating the dolphin/vehicle, so he had to explain to his mom why he wouldn't ride the dirt bike anymore, because that was what the dolphin just changed into. He just said he got tired of it and was too old for it, not wanting to admit he dated it. She apparently got rid of it. I freak out, exclaiming that she was going to throw her away, and that she would get put into a dump or trash compactor and die. I demanded to know what she did with him, desperately hoping he had stopped her. Then I woke up, and asked him because he was in the room with me since we had had a sleepover, and I was still so tired that I was still really concerned about it. He said he wouldn't have done it, more of trying to get me to shut up than anything else. That made me feel better.

My dreams are weird by nature, so which is the weirdest I leave to you to decide.

Some time ago (long before Jurassic World), I had one of those chase dreams. The spin on this dream is that it was one of those dreams where you wake up, but your really still dreaming too. It was a T-Rex and started out in a house that was not mine, yet seemed familiar. The backdoor was one of those sliding glass doors. I looked outside only to see the T-Rex drinking from the pool (yup, it's the cliche "really big eye right next to you" moment.) I hid under a table off to the side, but it found me and I "woke up" before it ate me. I was back in my house. I thought it was over, but then the door at the top of the stairs opened. I saw the shadow and immediately hid below the stairs. As it walked down the stairs, I saw its left foot and knew right away that it was a velociraptor. I waited for it to get some distance from the stairs before I made my way up the stairs (and yes, it noticed me as I attempted to escape) I ran and hid in the closet. Naturally, it found me and I "woke up" again. This went on for a total of eight times in various ways that I can no longer recall before I actually woke up.

A couple years ago, I had a dream in which I was at my grandparents house. I was in the kitchen helping out and I looked out the window at the rest of my family, who was grilling and talking and such. When I turned around, my grandma was a zombie. I ran out the backdoor and noticed that everyone else was no longer there, as if they were never there in the first place. I ran around the house to the front door to check on my grandpa. I opened the door, but was pinned to the door by my grandpa who was also a zombie. He then proceeded to rip my stomach open and feast on me.

Yesterday night, I had one another one of those dreams where something chases you. This time, I was being chased by Magilla Gorilla around the house. I ran from the basement to the ground floor, up to the second floor and hid behind an armchair that had no business being where it was. Naturally, he lifted the chair and found me. He said "really, you should just give already." I ran back down to the ground floor and went out the back door. I ran to the front of the house and looked back only to see him just standing there, as if he just appeared like a ghost. I went in the house through the front door and hid in the closet (you know, that same one from before.) and then I woke up.

Hahaha, I had a dream just like that in the 3rd grade! I got a 4/3000 on a Math test in the dream! (For the record, I do indeed hate Math.)

Weirdest?...Let's see...

Part 1: My sister and I were trying to keep two teachers from leaving our elementary school for another school. So my sister, me, Pikachu, Ash,
Itachi Uchiha from Naruto, and a bunch of other anime characters got together to make a plot to make them stay at our school. Then the lights went out at the school, and a ghost was staring at us from down the hall. We all yelled at Itachi for messing up the plan, and he was like, "Whaaaaaat? What did I do?!"
Part 2: I was in a place that was all-black (like, the air around me was all black), and a kid from my class was there. He had a bag of peanuts, and he kept saying (creepily), "Guess what these are!...Huh?...HUUUUUH?" Then he faded to black.
Part 3: I was transported to this weird, run-down building. It had a little mattress on the floor for a bed, and there was pink and purple graffiti all over the walls. Also, there was a giant exploded toilet. My guidance counselor from school was there, and he said, "This is Kelly Clarkson's house!" I'm like, "...Ummm...I don't think so."
Part 4: I was at Walmart, trying to buy Tangled for a teacher at my school. I went all through the store, even the video game isle, and then I got to a section of the store that was full of violent movies. I ducked and crawled through this section, because I didn't wanna see all the graphic violence.
Part 5: I rolled down a hill in the middle of a battlefield, where a bunch of Spartans were fighting with spears and stuff. I was going to join in.

Then I woke up. Yep, this was all one dream. And I have never forgotten it. Weirdest dream ever.

Weirdest Dream or Nightmare?

Postby Parhe » Sat Jul 04, 2015 10:42 pm

I love talking about myself. Anyway weirdest dream for me is a nightmare that I can remember, it is a recurring one. Though I usually don't remember my dreams in much detail so this is also special in that way.

Anyway I see it from the sky like I am looking down, but not like myself actually looking down but as if I am looking through a camera lens. I see myself running, and even though I "see" the scene from the sky I can feel it. The grass is a bright solid green and the sky is a bright solid blue with almost no other things dotting the landscape or sky. I am running, chasing a big red balloon that is just out of reach vertically and moving forward at a pace barely faster than me. Now this is already really strange because it is extremely rare that I have any freedom of movement in my dreams and it is also really rare that the scene is so bright colors. In all my other dreams it is usually very darkish and I cannot move. This is how it has been since I was forced to watch Freddy vs Jason or whatever when I was 8 (I think... just know it was when the movie first came out in the cinema) by this older boy, his family a friend of mine.

Back to the dream, the chasing happens for a while, all the while I always feel freaked out and, bar one case, do not know it is a dream, until the balloon is out of reach. Suddenly the whole area is different, very reddish, that of rust, and dark similar to one of those haunted houses. I can also tell there is a flickering light somewhere based off the shadows of the wall, which are all metal and filled with rusted gears, but I cannot see where the light is, presumably a fire. The walls get closer very gradually and I remember then other stuff happen, but I never remember what that stuff are for some reason. Then I think I wake up scared but I am still very scared for some reason and I can't move or see well, usually cannot see at all, yet I can "feel" the moving changing in some way. I also feel like I am being stared at and I hear voices, and they are different from the voices I usually hear so I get really terrified. Anyway, it just stops then out of no where and I am awake.

The closest I have to a weird dream. I'm actually terrified by it and wish it would stop happening. Like I said, I once knew it was a dream but was still terrified; I might just be too easily scared.
Hey, it is Parhe :D I am always open to telegrams.
I know it is a Work-In-Progress, but I would love it if y'all looked at my new factbook and gave me some feedback!

Have you ever dreamed up a psychologist. :p

Actually, yes. I did have one dream where I was in a treehouse, and I was sick.

And Tom Brady was my doctor.

I once had a dream where I was a carrot. Definitely ranks high on my weird dreams list.
