It's still rising if you get knocked right back down in the ensuing war.

Actually, due to global warming and rising sea levels, the Gulf Coast and East Coast are slowly rolling up. Much of the south, including New Orleans, Mobile, and Orlando, will be under water within the millennium.

So the South is actually falling, and climate change is a Yankee plot to infringe upon states' rights.

Considering every Yankee state except Vermont has a coast, it's a very masochistic plot. Or are you one of those people that says only people from Vermont who eat pie for breakfast are real Yankees?

Better?

Sometimes I really hate the lack of cues text based communication has.

Sorry USS Monitor I hope you understand my confusion with your statement, and why I got so frustrated.

I now understand why you were.

Sooo, yeah.
Miscommunication.

Lot of humble pie for

If it makes you feel any better, the way you read the original is the way I read it as well initially... I've just known her long enough too know she wouldn't say something so blatantly historically inaccurate, so I assumed it was just clumsy phrasing.

Lol. Then she was like ' I didn't say that' and I was just 'the hell you didn't'

But, she didn't, and had no clue why I thought she did.
Had we been speaking verbally this wouldn't have happened.

Yeah, the whole thing makes a lot more sense once I realized what you were confused about.

For all of their faults, the Tea Party at least had a good idea with the "Don't Tread On Me" flag.

I always thought there were a lot of very religious Christians in the Tea Party? Weird that they choose a serpent of all things to represent them. I mean, I can see where they take it from but I still find it odd.

The ones around where I am are. Don't tread on me but I will tread on you! I guess it's part of they are being oppressed thing.

Where have we seen this before? Oh, right! They've changed very, very little in 150 years.
