I haven't cried in years. My eyes do get wet, but nothing comes out of them for reasons related to grief. I dunno why.
Is this a mental health issue?

The last time I actually cried was when my computer's screen broke last year. Since then, I seem incapable of actually showing grief. Even when I went to my best friend's mother's funeral, I never really cried.

We must be in similar boats, then. And funny you mention your best friend's mother's funeral, my best friend went to my mom's funeral a couple of months ago.
(You don't live in any part of the Rust Belt, do you...?)

They debate by proxy a lot. They're online at the same time a fair bit, but they have very different activity patterns - Ostro seems to sit down and work out a bunch of posts, Chessmistress takes the lone sniper approach. And they do seem to dislike each other intensely.

Much healthier for everyone they just make pointed glances at each other while quoting other people.
