The film was actually based on a supposed "home movie" years back of a family that lived on a farm that got visited by aliens. It was obviously a hoax, but it was very well made, and it was made well before the home-movie trend of films took root. I'll have to dig it out, as it was much creepier, if I recall.

I'd say I'm pretty open minded, and accepting of most people, provided they aren't doing any harm, and genuinely believe that they associate better with a particular identification. I will entertain a few of the esoteric ones, within reason, but I won't, as I said earlier in this thread, entertain people who treat identities like hats.

There's a lot of trendy queer types who believe gender is genuinely nothing more than putting on a different "hat". The "all gender is drag" types. I've made my opinion of those people known in the past.

I see it as a whole different lifestyle when one crosses from one to the other. I've said that I've battled with my identity based on my Pokémon character in Pokémon Crystal for nearly 14 years. I became disillusioned with my attempts at the tough guy image as it never went the way I thought it would go. The Fu Manchu never grew the way I envisioned and I still was a nervous wreck realizing my mind and body weren't one. I still dressed in women's clothing in private then I realized that the "tough guy" image was a façade and I wasn't who I thought I was.

Creepers or ender men? That's adorably endearing, but I've never found Minecraft scary. The zombies groaning at night weirded my out the first time they started breaking down the door, though.

As with movies, I need somebody to hide behind. I can't remember which Silent Hill it was, but in one you start off on a pier in sheer darkness. Couldn't have paid me enough to move the analog stick without company.

My mother was decorating something, a pie I think, she was annoyed at how my stepfather was watching her so she couldn't concentrate, she messed it up, and he freaked out. And let me tell you, this always fucking happens. I can't stand it. But of course I can't do nix! I'm just glad I get to be away from them for an entire week this summer, thank god.

I quite like watching Letsplayers play horror games. Danny Avidan from Gamegrumps is a delight. Markiplier is probably the only horror Letsplayer I follow, though.

I enjoy horror games, but I am legitimately terrified of jumpscares. They get me every. Single. Time. Even when you know something's gonna pop out when you turn that corner.

Good luck with that. I remember my father once telling me of a time he was walking home through the woods in the middle of the night after a fishing trip, quite far from home, and his tilly lamp went out.
