Definitely IT. ET didn't freak me out at all. My parents were a little lax when it comes to what movies I could watch growing up. Nothing too bad, but clearly films that were beyond my age range at the time.

I'd say I'm pretty open minded, and accepting of most people, provided they aren't doing any harm, and genuinely believe that they associate better with a particular identification. I will entertain a few of the esoteric ones, within reason, but I won't, as I said earlier in this thread, entertain people who treat identities like hats.

There's a lot of trendy queer types who believe gender is genuinely nothing more than putting on a different "hat". The "all gender is drag" types. I've made my opinion of those people known in the past.

And since all of us dedicatedly follow your every step, we all remember collectively what your opinion about the gender hat people is.

I was pretty sure I knew DI's gender, but I was reluctant to use a pronoun until I'd spoken to her first. Although my instinct was correct, I didn't want to be in a person where I'd offended her if I was wrong. Perhaps it is a bit over-cautious, but it's only out of respect. Good. I wouldn't ever want any of my disparaging remarks to be confused with being aimed towards genuine issues of identity, but I don't think enabling people just desperate for attention is good for their health.

I like psychological horrors. Gore for the sake of gore doesn't do anything for me. Which is why I'm such a Silent Hill fan. Those games know how to do scary.

I like psychological horrors. Gore for the sake of gore doesn't do anything for me. Which is why I'm such a Silent Hill fan. Those games know how to do scary.

I'm terrible with any type of horror. I didn't sleep properly for days after seeing something as tame as Signs, if you can believe that.

It's great to be open-minded, as long as you carry a certain level of scepticism as well. People who want attention abuse open-minded people, so you've got to be able to differentiate.

Has the boyfriend exploited this? To be fair, Signs did have some pretty creepy moments to it. That's more my kind of horror film. The film was actually based on a supposed "home movie" years back of a family that lived on a farm that got visited by aliens. It was obviously a hoax, but it was very well made, and it was made well before the home-movie trend of films took root. I'll have to dig it out, as it was much creepier, if I recall.

You've come to the right person. I've got a few of them on Steam. Haven't played most of them yet. Although horror movies don't do much for me, my tolerance level for scary games is a lot lower, so they can creep the hell out of me. I've got Outlast and The Evil Within yet to play. Those are gonna be fun.
