Yeah. It's not the end of the world when someone who barely knows you calls you by the wrong gender.

I usually avoid using pronouns until I'm about 90% sure, and even then, if I still have niggling doubt, I'll ask, sometimes privately, to clarify. I'm probably overly careful when it comes to pronouns, but I guess it's because I know how important it can be to people.
