There are really two uses of crazy definition a is referring to some break with reality where he might not appreciate the wrongness of his action.
the second definition is just that the action and motivations for that action are incomprehensible, it does not reflect an attempt to lesson liability.


So to address the social media white people are labeled crazy blacks are labeled thugs. It may have to do with the motivation for the crimes caused by economic reasons are far more understandable than crimes committed by racial hatred. People can identify with robbing the liqour store if they are poor even if it results in a murder during the commission of the robbery.
