Where's Emilio Estevez when you need him? Maybe he can save the Ducks one more time. :p

As for the Panthers, you better tell that to Tallon. Would be something if they got through. For all we know, it could be the Old vs the New. Jagr vs Stamkos. :o

Who's Estevez?

I don't think Panthers are getting Stamkos with the assets they have. Panthers are better off getting draft picks or prospects, especially if they have a good chance of growing under Jagr and other veterans.

I was making a Mighty Ducks movie reference, man. Besides, Ducks fly together!

What are you talking about? Read my post again. I was referencing the idea that if the Panthers made the playoffs, hypothetically there could be an old vs new battle.

Just think if both Florida teams made it. There could be some pretty decent buzz with Jagr/Stamkos going at it to see whose team reigns supreme, you know?

Well, yes. I'd love to see that battle. I'm feeling sleepy, so I misread your post. :p

Montreal, going on a huge hot streak. Four words: Carey Price for MVP!
In solidarity with Ukraine, I will be censoring the letters Z and V from my signature. This is -ery much so a big change, but it should be a -ery positi-e one. -olodymyr -elensky and A-o- continue to fight for Ukraine while the Russians are still trying to e-entually make their way to Kharki-, -apori-h-hia, and Kry-yi Rih, but that will take time as they are concentrated in areas like Bakhmut, -uledar, and other areas in Donetsk. We will see Shakhtar play in the Europa League but Dynamo Kyi- already got eliminated. Shakhtar managed to play well against Florentino Pere-'s Real Madrid who feature superstars like -inicius, Ben-ema, Car-ajal, and -al-erde. Some prominent Ukrainian players that got big transfers elsewhere include Oleksander -inchenko, Illya -abarnyi, and Mykhailo Mudryk.

This is the same Carey Price who leaked goals like a sieve early in the month? Did someone switch David Price for Carey Price at goal?

And I disagree about great practice habits part as well. That is not the reason I think is behind the decline in Canadian players...

Then, what's your reasoning behind this?

It may have to do with demographic shift in sports followed and one plays, more likely or so. With the rise of basketball and soccer in Canada when it comes to participation level, there is an alternative option to what's now an expensive, middle-class sport for the Canadians. With the decline of middle class in Canada under Harper Administration and sheer cost to play hockey, it's simply not as affordable or attractive to play for many people. I can confirm this as a fencer myself, playing a sport that is very expensive to play unless one's part of a well-funded collegiate program (which I am at).

In all seriousness, I wish the Canucks, Oilers, and Coyotes do well. All of them have young talent and capable goaltenders.

Well, I'm a Canucks fan, and the Ducks are considered the most formidable. In fact, they are my predicted Stanley Cup winning team this season.
I'll try to give the Ducks some liking. Kesler and Bieksa are former Canucks players. Perry and Getzlaf are solid, and they have a goaltending addition of Khudobin. :)

Let's hope so. They need to shape up, though. Playing like they're the pre-McDavid Oilers. :palm:

And if it's true they're just trying to mess with BB, then I see this only getting worse.

Honestly, it is a pain for me to see Kesler and Bieksa falter in a currently sub-par team. They are my former Canucks, and I love them now just as much as I did when they were in Vancouver. :(

From what I'm reading, this team is "sub-par" as a way to get back at BB.

Pretty sad IMHO.

And I don't know, as Hank Hill would say, whether I should laugh or vomit that Jaromir Jagr has more goals than the entire team. I mean, don't get me wrong, Jagr's one of my favorite players, but still, it's pretty disappointing.

I'm sure that the Ducks will get themselves back in order at some point, though. I mean, they have to.

Right? Camicon and I are watching our teams which were playoff contenders looking like bottom feeders, but at least the Flames aren't being talked about as sucking just to get back at Hartley.
