After all, with Portugal (and therefore Cristiano Ronaldo) winning the European Nations Cup, the fact there's a game seven at the Stanley Cup and Toronto bottling their game five against Golden State (does anyone who isn't from the Bay Area or a bandwagon even LIKE them?), there has to be a happy ending here.

The only thing I can be certain of is that, regardless of tonight's result, we'll be getting a Congrats, Blues! at some point. Whether it'll be a serious congratulations or a conglaturation depends on how these next 30-odd minutes go (not including breaks, of course).

Agreed. A win for a major sports franchise every now and then isn't a bad thing but when it happens all of the time then it starts to get very grating. Especially if it's like the NBA where there's no parity and a salary cap with the strength of a piece of wet paper, which is essentially why we got Golden State vs Cleveland for four fucking years in a row. Fortunately, this doesn't seem like that'll be the case here. I say as I begin to tempt fate.
