It was going to be hard to top his Congrats, Lightning! video from last season but by quite a few gods did he manage it. Same goes with the Congrats, Pens! video he did a couple of days ago.

P.S. Anyone else unsettled by 1:45-1:56 or is it just me?

Not to mention that the Blues are up 3-2; there's still a good possibility for it to go to seven games and the Jets end up going through instead.

Did anyone see that goal that the Flames fucked up on? Did they seriously think that the Refs would give it to them after they pushed that player into the Goalie?

It's official. The top team in the Western Conference has joined their Eastern Conference counterpart in bowing out of the playoffs early. Congrats to Colorado; RIP Calgary.

This was a positive achievement for the winners, not a pathetic joke for the losers.

So often we disparage the winners these days by focusing on the negatives about the losers.

All the power to the Underdogs, but this was also a massive choke by the Bolts. Look, the Jackets win it in overtime game 7? Yeah it’s a hard fought series and the Columbus came out on top. Good for them. Everyone can walk away with pride. The record setting presidents trophy winners don’t win a single game against a team that limped into the playoffs and get swept out in the first round? That is a colossal failure. Yes Columbus did everything they needed to. And they’re a dark horse to win it all this year, but that Tampa couldn’t do anything more than flop around like a dead fish? That’s a massive failure.

Tampa Bay choked plain and simple.

Not to mention that Tree has given genuine congratulations from time to time, like Congrats, Astros and Congrats, Capitals from last year; maybe Congrats, Patriots from Super Bowl XLII if you consider it him giving genuine congratulations to the Eagles for finally winning a ring. Not to menton a brief segment from the Hater's Guide to the Stanley Cup from last season where he gave some props to the Jets for making it that far, ditto another brief bit in a March Madness video where he did the same to UMBC. So I don't see why he wouldn't do the same to the Blue Jackets at some point.

I think by the end of this round I'll have nul points. On the upside, I never expect to win these things, not to mention it's only a bit of fun, so I won't be bothered if this is the case.

I'm glad my picks are wrong (hell the penguins might just fix their defensive issues. This is making for an interesting playoffs and good Utree videos.

For the record, one of them says "STL leads 4-2" because it hadn't registered it as a series win when I originally made this in about 20-25 minutes. Click on the top image to be taken to the original post with my predictions on them if you want to see what they properly look like when they're not all smushed up.

At least the Caps are beating the Canes.

Agreed. The Lightning one seems to be as scathing as last year's video and the Penguins one is just as creative as last year's as well. It's just a question of what Congrats, Flames! and Congrats, Jets! will be like. And, as I've said, if he genuinely congratulates the Blue Jackets even if they don't make it to the Final.

Pope Joan wrote:I am afraid the Jackets will get stale, lose momentum, from this long wait they must endure while the Leafs and Bruins slug it out

In that case, remind me not to pick them so they'd stand more of a chance then.

I'll gladly take the point for the Blues victory. Might be hard for me to get many more points from the remaining series.

That could happen, but at least Columbus gets a bunch of days to rest while the Leafs and Bruins nuke each other and when one of those teams advance, they will become tired.

Knowing my luck, the Leafs will win game seven, the Golden Knights will win tonight and the Caps end up reverting to their old ways for games six and seven just so I'd finish this first round with no points.

Remember all of us making fun of the Blue Jackets? Awkward. Nobody scores.

Props to Idzeq and Polska for picking the Isles. You get a point. And again Idzeq picks the Blues, and is in the lead with two points. Madman! Tarsonis gets a point for the Avs. No one else. And here are the remaining picks:

Bruins v Leafs (3-3)
Bruins: Shof, Elejamie, Naz, Idzeq, Polska
Leafs: Tarsonis

Capitals v Hurricanes (3-2)
Capitals: Shof, Elejamie, Naz, Tarsonis, Polska
Hurricanes: Idzeq

Predators v Stars (2-3)
Predators: Shof, Elejamie, Naz, Tarsonis, Polska
Stars: Idzeq

Sharks v Golden Knights (2-3)
Sharks: Elejamie, Idzeq, Polska
Golden Knights: Shof, Naz, Tarsonis

Point Scale:
Idzeq - 2
Polska, Tarsonis - 1
Shof, Elejamie, Naz - 0

This game. Is stressing me the hell out. So many chances to win. So many times we almost lost. Thank goodness for Martin Jones.

Please score soon, Sharks. I don't know how much more of this I can take.
