Come, learn about Russian Culture! Bring Vodka and Ushanka. Interested in Slavic Culture? Fill this out.

Surely that's somewhat up to Carlson's personal wishes. No doubt he could get more elsewhere. Same with Kempny and a couple more guys... tho' Carlson is the most important.

Erik Karlsson's wife has taken out an order of protection against Mike Hoffman's girlfriend for harassing her and Erik for months on end.

The wives of Kyle Turris, Jason LaBarbera and Andrew Hammond have basically confirmed this. Hoffman denied any involvement from him or his girlfriend categorically.

This it going to be a tire fire.

I've been saying to my friends, I can't understand why people are talking about Karlsson leaving Ottawa, why he would ask for a trade, he's a franchise player.

So this happened. I mean, it's not necessarily the Stanley Cup but it's still impressive, especially since it's been 25 years since the last time a Canadian team won it.

While it may have been a tad bit of an anti-climatic finals, I think I got the hockey bug. Maybe I'll follow it next season. Just gotta find a team worth rooting for...would it be bandwagoning to pick Vegas?

Hell no! Vegas is likable. The only things to hate about the Golden Knights are that they're from Las Vegas and that they're a very successful young team made up of cast offs and supposedly mediocre players. They are the salt mines biggest distributor.

Nah, the Habs paid more in Galchenyuk than they got back in Domi. Basically, for the Habs to at least break even on the deal, Domi needs to show ability at the NHL level that he has not been able to thus far, in a market that is far more relaxed and less toxic than Montreal. The odds of that happening aren't great.
