The Penguins could be up 3 wins to 0 facing a drunken half crippled Sabres team and heading into the 3rd with a 4 goal lead and this thread would still have the Sabers winning the series. I don't blame them if any team were to beat the Pens these past 2 years it would be the hungry Sharks and the TOO GOOD Predators. Not to mention you could nuke Pittsburgh and they'd still find and dress a full team that wins the cup.
Expecting me to give the Thrashers respect when both their franchise and the Defunct Jets have less division titles than Edmonton has Stanley Cup Championships. Even the SABRES have more success than they do.
If the Thrashers win in 6 or less against Vegas or lose in the championship against the Lighting I would give them the respect they have earned.
However if they get beat by the Capitals they will be sacrificed to the hockey gods to hopefully end the nhlocalypse before shit gets worse.
Let's not talk their punishment if they get swept.

I think the issue is that you've been thrashing the Jets for quite a while. Once or twice was funny. At this point, it's becoming a bit ridiculous. I make fun of the Jets, as I make fun of all Canadian teams, but I don't go out of my way to do it. Disrespecting other hockey teams is fine, but as Cami said, you are going out of your way to do it. What if everyone starting ranting about the team that they hate for over a page? Two pages? Three pages? Then this wouldn't be a hockey thread anymore, it'd be a rant thread. One or two posts is fine. One or two pages isn't.
