Not to mention that the first game after Tarsonis' post, the Golden Knights ended up losing 6-3 to the Red Wings.
But still, while 3-1-0 is a good start, it's just a matter of whether or not they can keep this going for the rest of the season. After all, would they be able to make it to the playoffs in their first year? Will they make it past the First Round? I doubt they'll make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, let alone win the thing, so I won't ask that. And, most importantly, would they keep their fanbase down the line or would there be tons of empty seats at the T-Mobile Arena in 5-10 years? Those sorts of questions. Hopefully, they'll do well in their first season and keep a solid fanbase even when the Raiders move to town, but we'll just have to wait and see.
Also, I know this is nearly two months old, but what does everyone think about the Colorado Eagles being the 31st AHL team (starting next year)? Is it a good choice? Should they have gone with a different team? Or should they have expanded the league with a new team in a new location?
Bring back the Portland Pirates.
