Not to mention that the first game after Tarsonis' post, the Golden Knights ended up losing 6-3 to the Red Wings.

But still, while 3-1-0 is a good start, it's just a matter of whether or not they can keep this going for the rest of the season. After all, would they be able to make it to the playoffs in their first year? Will they make it past the First Round? I doubt they'll make it to the Stanley Cup Finals, let alone win the thing, so I won't ask that. And, most importantly, would they keep their fanbase down the line or would there be tons of empty seats at the T-Mobile Arena in 5-10 years? Those sorts of questions. Hopefully, they'll do well in their first season and keep a solid fanbase even when the Raiders move to town, but we'll just have to wait and see.

Also, I know this is nearly two months old, but what does everyone think about the Colorado Eagles being the 31st AHL team (starting next year)? Is it a good choice? Should they have gone with a different team? Or should they have expanded the league with a new team in a new location?

And they just bear the Bruins 3-1. Nobody said they'd go undefeated, but they are proving themselves to be at least a mid level team, which is impressive given their first year.

Agreed. Besides, I just thought it was funny that the Devils and the Golden Knights ended up losing their games after a post about them being the only undefeated teams in the NHL (well, I edited my post once I found out the Devils also lost), as well as one celebrating how good Vegas are. Still, I do apologise if I seemed a bit rude when I posted that. Ditto to Jello. Sorry, guys.

But still, while I am still a teensy bit sceptical (because it's still early on in the season), I do genuinely wish them luck. And, hopefully, they'll do alright, make it into the playoffs and get a solid fanbase.

They beat the 'Yotes twice and a shit looking Bruins team. That's not enough to put Vegas in the middle of the pack. Let's wait until they start playing the Preds, Wild, Ducks, Oilers, Flames, and Kings.

Don't forget a 2-1 opening win against the Dallas Stars (who are currently at the bottom of the Central Division).

But still I agree with Camicon. If the Golden Knights are in the top half of their Division by the end of the year, if not the All Star break, then I guess we could start saying they're a good team or at the very least a lot better than expected. But for now, let's just wait and see.

The Flyers are looking like the fastest and best-passing we Flyers fans have seen in a while. Nolan Patrick is already emerging as one of the best passers in the league, G is looking GREAT, Wayne is looking awesome, and Coots is looking awesome (let's hope he stays healthy).

Blues are kicking it pretty hot, despite injuries.

6-2-0 with their losses being to the Panthers (not a great but everyone drops a game now and then) and the Lightning (Currently leading the league)

I'd say this is the best start they've had in the last few years. now if we can just keep it up through the year.

A little bit late, I know, but from what I understand there's going to be a new ECHL team in Portland starting next season. It might not be much but it does mean professional ice hockey will return to Maine.

Hopefully. After all, they did fairly well last season and only got knocked out in the second round because Nashville was just that good. Not to mention they made the Conference Finals the year before. So I can't see why the Blues won't go far this season.

Neither will last. The 'Yotes are going to suck this season, but they can't lose everything, and Vegas is definitely not good enough to sit atop the Western Conference for much longer.

As the season goes on things will level off.

Devils at 6-2. Vegas at 7-1. Oilers 2-5-1. Avs over .500. Crazy.
