Austin's never played for Fleetwood…
In any case, Grimsby beat Forest Green Rovers in the playoff final.

No it was Forest Green. Grimsby are also playing at Wembley later this month in the FA Trophy final against Halifax

Don't know where you've heard that. Certainly not yet announced by either club or the league.

Now confirmed for Tuesday, 8 pm, for what it's worth. Had to be Tuesday as Uefa wouldn't allow them to schedule something against the Europa League final on Wednesday.

Must be well annoying for cherries fans, its to long to stay at such short notice but to short to go to bournmouth and back.

The Mail's Mike Keegan reporting that the device was not a hoax – it was accidentally left there and forgotten about by a security company doing an internal training exercise for Man Utd last week! As the chant goes, someone's getting "sacked in the morning"!

Well that must be the biggest call for getting sacked in the morning since the Real Madrid worker who broke the printer and cocked up the De Gea transfer.

So FC Twente got relegated here from the Dutch flight because of financial problems.

Now, the number #16 of the top flight, who is playing promotion/relegation playoffs (against the #3 of the lower league) will stay in no matter what. (If they manage to stay in by winning, then the same will go for #17).

Of course, that team is Willem II. And the #3 of the lower league is NAC Breda, my team.

Also, both are each others rivals.

Dammit.

So Willem II gets a chance to kick us down for another year, and we can't be able to return that same favour. Fucking hell. Dutch FA, what a fuck up here.

Seriously, now they have nothing to play for, while we are under pressure to perform. And we've seen what that does (Graafschap - Ajax, last round).

Fuck this shit.

Or NAC wins on its own strength.

I thought FC Twente were a big name in the Netherlands. Obviously not Ajax or PSV but still wouldn't expect them to have issues.

Then again same thing happened to Rangers

That's the idea. But I want Willem II to go down at the same time ;)

Nah.

FC Twente was an inflated name in the Netherlands. It looked big, until we figured out that most of it was hot air.

Rangers was genuinely big (for Scotland).

Well Twente will end up with some money from selling its players off...
Best of luck to NAC, then, I guess.

Just tried to read up on the promotion and relegation in the Dutch system and man is it confusing...

I'll bet, but I've somewhere to go, so later I will, I guess...

Unrelated, but I wonder what's going to happen to Sandro. Surely he's too good to be playing for a mid table championship side next season. I'd love to have him back at Spurs as cover for Dier. He should be cheap, going into the last year of his contract, or possibly could come on a loan.
Other options for Dier cover would be Neustader, who I believe is out of contract at the end of June. The rumour about Saul is insane, no way Atleti would let him go for what Levy is willing to spend. N'Koulou, also out of contract in June, could be useful Toby cover if Poch decides that Fazio should move on or wants to leave.
