Now, the number #16 of the top flight, who is playing promotion/relegation playoffs (against the #3 of the lower league) will stay in no matter what. (If they manage to stay in by winning, then the same will go for #17).
Of course, that team is Willem II. And the #3 of the lower league is NAC Breda, my team.
Also, both are each others rivals.
Dammit.
So Willem II gets a chance to kick us down for another year, and we can't be able to return that same favour. Fucking hell. Dutch FA, what a fuck up here.
Seriously, now they have nothing to play for, while we are under pressure to perform. And we've seen what that does (Graafschap - Ajax, last round).
Fuck this shit.

I thought FC Twente were a big name in the Netherlands. Obviously not Ajax or PSV but still wouldn't expect them to have issues.
Then again same thing happened to Rangers

Well Twente will end up with some money from selling its players off...The Blaatschapen wrote:So FC Twente got relegated here from the Dutch flight because of financial problems.

Best of luck to NAC, then, I guess.
Just tried to read up on the promotion and relegation in the Dutch system and man is it confusing...
