Benitez seems to be motivating them to turn it around.Eastfield Lodge wrote:That possibility of relegation never stopped the players playing so poorly that we ended up in this position in the first place.Auremena wrote:Chelsea will like to think they can still score an EL slot, at least they have something to fight for. Norwich, like two years ago, has a tough schedule at the end of the year, they might pick up another point or two at best. Newcastle is still my favourite to stay up. Also particularity as they have many higher value players that won't want to stay around in the championship if relegated; a mass exodus of top players like Wijnaldum, Townsend, Sissoko, Krul, and Janmaat for fractions of what they would have been worth in the PL would be disastrous for management to deal with buying players that could send you lot back up anytime soon.

Very true. I still worry about Sunderland's predictable end-of-season upturn in form though.

Looks like you're about to get your wish after all.

Tbqh i think for the players they would have rather it been next weekend. A home win has to feel better than watching the runners up draw on your day off. At least if I were a player. Having the trophy presented to me on field and actually having something real to talk about in the post match interviews has got to feel amazing. The Blaatschapen wrote:This is probably the only time in ones life where you wish to be in Leicester on a Monday night.

Unrelated - how do the prospects for Man U look to you? I've got my fingers crossed for a magical Kevin De Bruyne moment whilst hoping it's not a 100% Ronaldo. Although he's still top level at 90%.

Literally have no idea what you're on about seeing as de Bruyne plays for City, not United.
