Exactly. They're not anti-military, they're pro-life.

Hang on... that doesn't sound right...

Beginning after the Cold War ended, what major conflicts do you think Canada should have involved itself in? 'Cause it's pretty damn clear that the correct answer is "none".

I wouldn't call intervening against ISIS pointless however. Which is one of my major gripes with the Liberal Party.

WWII was pointless? Korea? Afghanistan? Because the Liberals were in government for each one.

Yeah. As an NDP supporter it's been a bit of a disappointing night. Disappointing few weeks, really. I suspect all that NDP support we saw in the last few months flipped right over to the Liberals. Not that I'm complaining too much - I'd much rather Trudeau be doing well than Harper. But still.

Even I cried, and I didn't support the NDP. He was one of the best and most genuine politicians we have ever had. I might have honestly voted NDP this time around, depending on the platform of course, if he were still around.

Ultimately, however, as we saw in Britain, the biggest losers of the night are going to be professional pollsters who never saw a Liberal majority coming in a million years, and there's still the possibility that it won't happen, but it grows slimmer by the moment.

I'm ambivalent towards who succeeds the cons, but I'd have liked to see those two in particular win.

I wouldn't have minded an NDP government. Be nice for a change from the two sided struggled between the Conservatives and Liberals.

But lets be honest, for every non Con supporter, this is better than having Harper in.

I feel bad for Olivia Chow though, I like her and think she could actually make for a good leader of the NDP.

Pierre Poillievre is losing.
Chris Alexander is losing.
Joe Oliver is barely holding on.

These are some good results.

Yeah. I don't think they really foresaw just how much 'anyone but Harper' sentiment there is on the left and definitely didn't see how much that might translate into an exodus from the NDP in the last few weeks as people picked the most likely winner.
