I think he'll keep his seat, though. His riding is Calgary-Southwest, which is fairly Conservative.

My riding has also been conservative for most of the past two decades. Gonna be pissed if the Liberal candidate wins tonight.

Tbh I do, simply because we haven't had a Canadian team win the Stanley Cup since 1993 and this would be sweet payback. *shakes fist at America*

Kind of funny that St. John's East (Newfoundland) is still undeclared and a tight race.

And now, the deluge begins as polls close in all but BC.

Oops, that's still 30 minutes away.

I'm predicting my riding will go Liberal (whom I voted for). I do hope Diane Freeman stays in politics however, she is quite a nice and genuine person.

Also I appreciate how her and Bardish Chagger's campaign came out today in force to help people vote. It was quite nice.

Keep in mind that each time a federal leader visited a Jays game during the campaign, they lost. I think it's best for politicians to avoid Jays games completely.

I'm enjoying how there is virtually no coverage of the election in American media, yet it is currently the leading story on the BBC.

Long ago, the parties worked together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the Conservatives attacked. Only Trudeau, master of politics could stop them, but when Canada needed him most, he died. Ten years have passed and my brother and I have discovered the new Trudeau, a man named Justin and while rhetorical skills are great, he has a lot to learn before he can stop Harper. But I believe Trudeau can save Canada...

You'd think that at least a few Americans might care, but apparently not. I predict a ten-second soundbite on the morning shows tomorrow.

Same. Though I imagine the Obama administration will be pleased as hell if Harper is gone.

As will incidentally John Cleese and John Oliver (you beautiful bastards).

So Pierre is Avatar Roku, Harper is Ozai, and Justin is Aang. I guess that means Mulcair is Jet. :p
