Above $200,000, hillary wins.


Among voter identification, bernie wins slightly among registered democrats (52/48), but very solidly among independents (72/25).

I think the great thing about New Hampshire is that it reflects America well. Sure, it's 94% white. Sure only 6% of the state is either black, Asian, or Latino. But yeah.... go Bernie.

It's a fair point that applies well beyond the current specific campaign.

Literally the only reason anyone cares about Iowa or New Hampshire is that they're the 'first in the nation' primaries. In terms of population and demographics they're nearly irrelevant. "Oh, you got white people to vote for you in an overwhelmingly white state with a population smaller than several large cities, that will surely be a strong indicator of your performance among 130 millionish voters including 10s of millions of minorities."

If they came later in the primary cycle media coverage would be limited to a bored intern with a cellphone camera.
