So did Sanders. God, elections right? "Why can't the people -those dumb plebs- just vote for the person that I want?"

You seem to have little to offer the dialog but petty taunts and misrepresentation.

How is Sanders' performance in Iowa even relevant in this context?

Looks like you literally posted it for no reason but to bait me.

And your implication that I do not respect the will of the people and democracy is a complete misrepresentation of my beliefs and character.

I'm done with you.

Don't worry RR, South Carolina will get it right.

A Bernie win their is a bit of a long shot, but I haven't counted it out.

And if he does win, I will take considerable satisfaction in your impotent frustration.
"Our progress in degeneracy appears to me to be pretty rapid. As a nation, we began by declaring that "all men are created equal." We now practically read it "all men are created equal, except negroes" When the Know-Nothings get control, it will read "all men are created equal, except negroes, and foreigners, and Catholics." When it comes to this I should prefer emigrating to some country where they make no pretence of loving liberty -- to Russia, for instance, where despotism can be taken pure, and without the base alloy of hypocracy." - President Abraham Lincoln.

Bingo. Seriously I challenge you. Go to any college campus and ask people passing by what their thoughts on Sander's policies are. hell read verbatim Hillary's tax plan and say it's Sanders...

I believe someone or another made a video but it was Trump's plan and they were giving to Clinton supporters.

It was pretty funny.

So while I do not doubt that people don't fully grasp what the candidate they support stand for, I think an entire state is a bit much, don'tcha think?

Probably my New Hampshire doppelgängers. I'm really disillusioned with the current roster on both parties.

Well it's about 56-41 with 15% reporting in. I'd like to wait and see how badly she lost. I suspect it will narrow down some and give her some delegates.

I've heard his tax plans seem to.
You'd better believe I'm a bitter Bernie Sanders supporter. The Dems fucked up and fucked up hard. Hopefully they'll learn that neoliberalism and maintaining the status quo isn't the way to win this election or any other one. I doubt they will, though.

Dude, I'm just saying college kids in general. There's also an old video about black people in 2008 saying how Obama was going to give them all this free shit. Either way, Hillary can't claim she has a large chunk of the college kid vote. Bernie sure can though.

Correction to my earlier post: I erroneously stated that there are a thousand leagues between Sanders and Trump. The actual maximum distance between the two is actually about 19 leagues.

The huge turnout portends it going the other direction and a widening of his lead... but I don't see him winning by any less than ten. They called this thing so soon it must be a slam dunk.

No, I meant what I said. If we call college kids "educated," it's sort of a bern to education.

Early calls are not too unusual. I recall in 2008, Indiana being called for Hillary almost immediately (it was actually a razor thin win for her). I've also seen some calls made in 2000 as well... though I'm not disputing Sanders won. Just that I suspect the margin will shrink.

They're in college Mike, what do you think they do in college these days? It's not all partying and doing the marijuana. Believe it or not, people actually learn things in school too, doing what the masses might call "getting educated".

These days? I was an undergraduate only 4 years ago haha. And having gone to the illustrious University of Washington in Seattle, I really don't know if describing those guys as "educated" is really fair. Most of my peers seemed more versed in pop culture than actual culture.

Interesting. According to WaPo, Bernie won with voters who care more about honesty and caring, and Hillary won with voters who are more focused on electability.
