I wonder why kids don't play outside anymore? It's all I ised to do, my parents would tell me "don't come back to sundown." Barefpot in Arizona summer, none of us cared.

I figure it's a combination of paranoia about "stranger danger" and the easy entertainment offered by videogames...

TV should be limited to like an hour a day after homework is done, whatever happened to kids walking around the neighborhood to play with each other or knocking on other kid's doors to see if they could play? Kids start back school in August though, ends in May.

In NY it's September and June.

I figure that might be that our summers are very bad. Sometimes we have heat days where kids can't go to school or just recess.
