Biker gang shootout...

So basically a whole bunch of biker gang thugs decided to shoot at each other in a crowded shopping centre with innocent civilians around.

I hope the surviving participants are never let out of prison. If we can't stamp out gang activity, the least we can do is give them some incentive to settle their feuds elsewhere.

What I love about this whole incident is how easily it could have been avoided. The police asked the restaurant to keep the gangs separated and to move some events around. Because the police realized that rival gangs in the same area is not a good idea.

The restaurant refused.

Gangs meet, and as the police very accurately predicted, started fighting. Good thing the police made sure they were prepared for that eventuality.

Whomever is the manager needs to be fired. I mean that's just flabbergasting stupidity on the restaurant's part.

Would it have been an option to pre-emptively evacuate the civilians from the area, or is that too up to the restaurant and/or shopping centre?

Me neither. These thugs are no different than the inner city gangs.

I know several bikers. Most are normal people with real jobs and bills like the rest of us who simply own a bike and may or may not be involved in illicit business. I shrug at this in general.

Yeah, bikers overall tend to be rather decent people. Small portion of assholes tend to ruin the image for the rest.

While I'm not sure of the arrestees and membership breakup, the Bandidos will still be around simply due to raw numbers. The other clubs are most likely considerably smaller and will probably be hit harder as a result. Unfortunately this is probably the beginning stages of a biker war.

Oh those are fun.

I've never met an American who claims that organized crime doesn't exist on a national level. Hell, anyone with a cursory knowledge of organized crime in the USA will know about The Commission.

The American Motorcycle Association quipped that 99% of bikers are outstanding citizens, thus coining the Original One Percenters.
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.

It's a Twin Peaks franchise, a breastaurant chain competing directly with Hooters. The manager was either thinking bikers would tip tits well, or he was too scared piss to do the common sense thing.

W...who says there's no organized crime in the US? What blessedly sheltered twits are they? Might as well say there are no cats in America.

Am I a bad guy if I say that I took a "meh" approach to these deaths? I mean as long as they didn't hurt anyone else (which fortunately they didn't) then I really don't see any reason to sympathize with these aggressive biker nutjobs. They're a threat to society. It's unpleasant that they got shot, but I'm not losing a minute of sleep over it.

I much prefer the Bikers Against Animal Cruelty and the Bikers Against Child Abuse over any of these violent biker gangs. Those guys are respectable.

Governing body of the American Mafia. Also has its tentacles in our home and native land as a result of the Buffalo crime family and the closeness of the Rizzuto family with the Bonano family.
