Can we make Religion???

So this sorta just smacked me in my face but could we like make our own religion right here and now.. Like think about it people say Religion is based on mans belief and how he goes though with it...so doesn't that mean man is the one that created Religion??

So here is what i would like to see happen i want you the People on the site to put forth what you think would be your faith and religion or hell just make one up together..this is not a game i am being serious like wouldn't it be cool if we made our own religion right here and now?

I think there should be at least Science in it... Science is a main factor.

Yeah. You need to fill out some paperwork for proper recognition, of course and then you could adopt a belief, sets of rules and even receive donations. This is a real thing. Someone even described in great detail how to make your own religion.

It is possible to create a religeon out of thin air however it is much harder now than ever before. Everyone thinks in an extreamly uniform manner when compared to other centuries and that new uniformed thinking is highly dissaproving of anything that isn't already there with the exception of Pop Culture.

I have seen all sorts of devoted fan cults, since I go to Comicon and such, and I have found cults for Doctor Who, Star Trek, Lord of The Rings, and a few obscure groups such as Lord Helix and even Tobuscus and Pewdiepie.

I have yet to see a religion based around a new asteral figure or actually science (So scientology does not count)

The Incans actually didn't take to kindly to people being sacrificed actually. Apparently their gods weren't into that since the sun didn't need it to survive. I suppose they were somewhat more merciful.

There have always been 3... The 3, 1 good, 1 evil and 1 balanced. With no sex or anything the 3 created there own places
good created many religions around himself, As well as evil its self as Balanced stayed in the back and balanced the things apart... Balanced Created Universes as good and evil then occupied them growing more powerful. Good and evil then gave new life to both 2 new good and evil making 3 good and 3 evil as there now was 7...still there was only 1 balance and this threw him into great turmoil and thus balance created 7 of balance setting forth there will be no more. Balance then created Science and Time and the stars, As Good and Evil starting making religions and creatures of there own.Good made Angels in all there alike, Evil made demons for all they where meant to be. balance made humans as good & evil then corrupted them..Balance stepped in as a medium and said leave humans be.

Main Tenant / Monsters are real & it's our duty to kill them all:

I'd build a religion around the study, hunting, and destruction of: the crypted, the demonic, the angelic, the mystical, the magical, the mythological, the other worldly, and all other things supernatural, and paranormal. We would acknowledge the existence of gods, but would highly discourage worship of gods (because we also hunt them). Luckily, those that already acknowledge the paranormal always find reassurance when they browse the net. Bias breeds bias. Though, just-in-case, it may be required of us to produce a creature or monster every now-n-then. Clearly, such monsters as previously described don't actually exist. . . So we will highly discourage witchcraft. Considering the increase the polytheistic, folk, and wiccan religions; we will always have a creature (i.e. witches) to point to. Though, obviously, we'd be seen as nothing more than modern day witch hunters and paranormal junkies.

Gods & The Soul:

We would believe in the soul, but we'd have an Annihilationist view of it. When your soul dies, it's energies are recycled back into the universe. Though this recycling process can be somewhat slow, which can be further slowed if the person (who has died) has a hard time moving. This allows for ghosts and explains why communication with the dead can occur. Likewise, because the soul is made up of energies it's a precious commodity in the after life (what else would they trade in after all?). If you are a worshiper of a god, then your soul will be collected by that god. It's at that point you either will be saved to be traded for divine goods, immediately be absorbed by that god to make them stronger, or (if the god has many worshipers) they will send you to there "heaven" where your soul will be siphoned of is energies slowly (you won't notice because the amount taken is so small and when the god has like 100,000+ being siphoned at once they can afford to take a small amount from each soul). This is why, ultimately, my religion is be against the worship of gods and will openly seek their destruction.

Policies:

We would recommend our followers to read many holy text and mythological stories so they could learn how to identify and destroy particular monsters/creatures. Though eventually we would release a compiled work of monsters and how to identify, track, & kill them (or at least banish). We'd be pro-gun and pro-hunting. We'd also believe that humans existed before the gods came along and found us on earth, so we'd be very accepting of evolution and the sciences in general.

I can't think of anything else, so I'll consider this the end.
