The secret is to go on off hours when it is not so busy. Go when most kids are in school or go closer to the closing time when it tends to be pretty empty.

I will say that a small number of CEC locations do not maintain their stores as well as they should, but the vast majority are very clean and nice places to visit. Go back to your local CEC. It may be a lot nicer than you remember it.

From what I remember during my times of viewing the forums(and never posting), both you and Narnia are from Vancouver, and both of you two seem to have the same love for odd interests, like Chuck E Cheeses. Strange coincidence, you two should hang out. :p

Lots of people like arcade games, animatronic robots and pizza. I'm not being paid for any of this. I just really like CEC.

You're probably the only person who loves CEC this passionately, so much so that the company itself can feel the extent of that love.

If someone wants to go to an arcade, there are much better places than CEC to go to for arcade games.

Animatronic robots are objectively creepy.

There are also much, much, much better places to get pizza, there's a place here in town I like to go to as often as I can afford it that would wipe CEC's pizza clear off the map and into the deep dark void of space.

CEC is the coolest arcade place I go to. All their machines are cool and modern. I know some other places that have arcade games but a lot of them are old and broken.

The animatronics are NOT creepy at all. They are cute and a lot of fun to watch.

CEC is my favorite place to get pizza. It tastes great. Don't knock it until you try it.

The last time I went to Chuck E. Cheese was when I was like... 7 or 8? It was for a friend's birthday party. I remember hating pretty much everything about it except for this one game console thing that had the whole 'moving chair!' set up and the motors and all that junk to make it feel "realistic". It was a really crappy looking version of Crimson Skies, which was like my favorite game when I was a little kid. Naturally I jumped on it as the only source of happiness in the whole godforsaken establishment and strapped my little self into the faux-pilot seat.

I pretty much ignored my friend's birthday and spent all my Chuck-E-Cheese Moneycoins or whatever they were to just play that one game. My seven years of Crimson Skies experience gave me the prowess I needed to destroy that arcade game version of it. I burned through levels like nobody's business. Dozens of computerized pilots fell before my guns. Eventually my parents told me I had to leave, so I got up, but this overweight, neckbeard-and-ponytail employee emerged from the shadows and looked at me with this face of utter reverence and admiration.

He sat me down and handed me basically a shiny, golden, jingling refund of all the Moneycoins I'd spent on that game, and told me that he had never seen someone play Crimson Skies that well. I was awesome, he said. I was a Chuck-E-Cheese god. No other kid had ever shown the perseverance and skill I had. When my parents finally dragged me away from the creepy Chuck-E-Cheese employee I had a realization. All those kids that spent the whole time actually socializing, eating crappy food with each other, and watching weird animatronics make fake music? They had nothing on me. I had not gone to Chuck-E-Cheese to have fun. I had gone there to grow. They were weak. I was strong.

I entered that low end pizza-entertainment joint a soft child and left it a hardened ace.

They should hire me to market instead, I have true Chuck-E-Cheese stories

Some people like the taste ofstale, cardboard pizza, and the sound of hyperactive youngsters fueled by curiosity and skittles.

Or, in the case of much more disturbing individuals. That's like, 90% of my concern about adults without children who go to CEC.
