You should go. You can get a bunch more tokens. If you look through them you can sometimes find old ones from the 90's or even 80's if you are really lucky.

I don't think an older kid like me would be welcome there.

You'll be welcome. Don't worry. Just go with your parents if you are shy the first time.

I've only been once or twice, I didn't think it was anything special. There hasn't been any near my locale for at least a decade. For about the same cost or less, I could go to some great Mexican restaurants.

Do those Mexican restaurants have arcade games or animatronics?

Nothing like spending a night out with your parents by going to Chuck E. Cheese's, I guess.

Fact is, Chuck E. Cheese's has never interested me. If I want pizza, I can order from Pizza Hut. Fun games? I made up a whole bunch as a kid (I was a lonely child, obviously). A large rat? Just go to the basement in my dad's house. There's a family of them living there.

Some do.

I know of one that has a Mariachi band. That is pretty good if you're staying to the Mexican theme and the place isn't trying to go for multiple themes.

Why are you defending Chuck E. Cheese's with such fervour? The place isn't horrible to my recollection, but it isn't exactly the end-all greatest place on Earth you seem to make it out to be. Do you work there or something?

It can be annoying at times. I get offended when people call the animatronics creepy especially.

They're pretty cool, though I've heard from my mom that they used to be a lot more grand back in the day. Tubes going all over the restaurant instead of just a play area, that kind of stuff.

I used to get lost in the tubes as a kid and freak out. Also the animatronics scared the shit out of me, and this was long before FNAF, dears.

This has absolutely fuck-all to do with the healthiness of fast food.

Who funded that study?

I'm guessing the University of Fortaleza, but I'm not entirely sure how academic funding works in Brazil.

And why to you think Mc Donalds chicken nuggets and chips are healthier than vegetables and say steak?

Six pieces of McDonald's chicken nuggets have 287 calories, a medium fries has 387 calories. A single steak has between 750-1200 calories depending on the kind of steak and mass... the vegetables at a restaurant are also likely to be cooked in too much salt. Eating either too much will make you fucking fat.

Note: I never said that McDonald's was healthier than restaurants. I said that they're both about equally unhealthy.

Well, animatronics are creepy. They stare blankly into your soul and then you become nothing more than a husk, a shell of your former self. I mean, have you not seen Five Nights at Freddie's? Shit will give you nightmares worse than Cthulhu working the counter at Taco Bell.

Salt apparently isn't that bad for you as people say it is. I read something somewhere that the FDA or some other group actually declared the recommended salt intake lower than it actually was for some reason or another. I suppose you have to take in account other factors besides how much salt and calories are in the food. The average fast food (when specifically talking about typical fast food restaurants, not sushi and stuff like that) is probably less healthy than the average restaurant food if you adjust for how much you are getting. I'm talking about normal restaurant food too, not a pile of Texas Cheese Fries at Chili's.

I bought Five Nights at Freddy's because the characters are cute. Animatronics are just like big stuffed animals that move and sing. Nothing creepy at all about them.

If by cute you mean stalking the restaurant at night and stuffing night watch guards into animatronic suites thereby killing them, then sure.

The thing with salt is that it's mostly only bad for some people. For everyone else, it's fine, but at the same time, it's also used to hide shitty cooking (because salt is delicious) so it's not something people tend to overdo at home, but restaurants do overdo.

It might be possible that you can get more nutrients for your calories at a restaurant than at some fast food places, but that depends much more on what you actually order at either of these places. In either case, you're actually probably better off learning how to cook and making the food for yourself.

I'm not making up lies. I cited a study and then pulled some numbers off Google. You're the one whose only reasoning so far is snobbery.

Do you know how much fat, oil, grease and artificial/synthetic things are in McDonalds?

Do you know how much of all of that is in restaurant food?

Also McDonalds isn't the only fast food chain out there, there are plenty that offer reasonably healthy options.
