I'm inclined to agree. You could go halfway to making an argument that both groups were in the wrong, but the reality is that one group was doing something perfectly legal albeit unpopular, and the other group was doing something blatantly illegal.

On Dutch news sites. Especially the Facebook site of the NOS (the national broadcasting company that shows the main news) is being swamped by muslims posting those statements.

Of course, it IS only 07:00 in the Netherlands currently and the news came out in the middle of the night - so the more intelligent, hardworking muslims were probably asleep - and those who are going wild in public are the ones with nothing better to do.

But the damage is once again done. It's a pattern - some loony muslims do someting bad; a tidal wave of approval is heard from what is perceived to be the muslim community, and only much later a few more levelheaded people try to make themselves heard. By then it is too late.

So there is no unified response?
