Time to find out what family member forgot my birthday. None, none of them did.

I think she only gave me something because it was my 16th.

OooooOOOOoooo. Shrimp burittos
The West won the world not by the superiority of its ideas or values or religion … but rather by its superiority in applying organized violence. Westerners often forget this fact; non-Westerners never do.

The most fundamental problem of politics is not the control of wickedness but the limitation of righteousness.

I thought most stopped getting gifts after their 16th. I've been told not to expect anything next year.

Always good to take a special offer. Unless it's stuffed crust, and that crust is stuffed with sausage.

Close relatives still gift money, or rather when you get older going out to a restaurant is a thing that happens. My youth minister's husband just turned like 26 or something around that and his parents take him and his wife to dinner at a restaurant and they pay for it.

So, gifts stop happening, but other things that apply to adults happen, I suppose.

I guess. I suppose it depends on the family. I didn't actually get any actual gifts. Just money.

That's what tends to happen as you get older, money is a more likely gift to give.

My actual close family gives me money, and have done for several years. Two of my uncles however usually do get me birthday gifts. And I'm 19. My last year as a teenager...

I am as well, I spent all my money on Steam games. Now I have too many Steam games I still want but cannot afford.

I tend to put a lot of my wish list, then buy stuff when it comes on sale. I have more than enough games to sink my teeth into, and I can be patient.
