Depends on the UC school. Definitely not UCLA or UC Berkeley, not unless you have extraordinary extracurriculars.

I'm not moderating. It's my nana & grandad's 45th anniversary.

It's tradition. Something the British are proud of, hence they still have those uniforms.

Perhaps so. It's nice to keep tradition.

But if I ever were to see one in person, I'd probably laugh. It's just the way they stamp and march, plus their goofy hats :lol2:

I'm doing a diploma for it. So unless I want another 2 years in college (not uni), it's what I'll be doing.

I think we already have one of those, and I'm currently doing everything I can to avoid being utterly bombarded with project requirements hundreds of pages long. You've got the job if I can be left alone in peace to code. Rome wasn't built in a day, and at this rate I won't even get the Colosseum finished if I'm expected to understand the entire Roman empire before I even lay the first set of bricks.

Metaphorically speaking, you might not be far off. People just need to come around to my way of thinking, that's all.

A friend of mine who scored 1750 on his SAT (which is about the equivalent of a 25 or 26 on the ACT) got into UCSB. So your chances are good.

I used to have this one aunt that used to get me a bunch of scratch cards, every year, for like six years. Never been much of a gambler, but it was more fun than just getting a tenner in a card. Never won much, though.
