I read wikipedia article and it says that autism rate increased 30% in USA just in 2 years. Did they change autism criteria or something like that?

According to Dutch doctors (they voiced their disagreement last year on television) people get labeled too quickly. Nowadays almost everybody has a disorder, disability or allergy.

I'm certain that there is a group of people who make money of this autism and anti-vaccine thing.

I think at this point it should be incredibly obvious to anyone and everyone, that vaccines, cause autism and are resolinsible for the autism epicdmic. We have known this clearly for 17 years now, yet some people have still disagreed claiming conflicting evidence. However there is more and more proof than every before that vaccines cause autism, and now that we have heard it right from the horses mouth I think it is impossible for anyone to logically disagree that vaccines cause autism.

I find it interesting that they have a link to the report and they talk about a specific thing that is IN the report but they don't tell you how to find that particular thing in the 1200 page report.

Autism has risen from 1 in 10000 in the 1980s to 1 in 29 today. We are on track to 1 in 1 if we don't stop using vaccines.

Umm vaccines first became compulsory and widely used in the late 1800s. If your argument was true autism should have exploded in the late 1800s. We should all be autistic considering nearly everyone in the developed world has been vaccinated since the late 1800s. There has been no increase in use of vaccines in the West recently, so you lack both correlation and causation.

People die in car crashes. Most people who die in car crashes have been vaccinated. Ergo vaccines cause car crashes. See how silly your argument is? It is a complete non sequitur.

The "increase" in autism in the U.S. probably has to with over diagnosis and the fact that many parents think if their child does not conform socially they must have a mental illness. Yes this is bad but has nothing to do with vaccines. Especially since this is recent, and people have been vaccinated for over 100 years.

Also even if every single case of autism today was caused by a vaccine, that's still a lot better than magnitudes higher of dead people in a plague-ridden society. But vaccines don't cause autism so it doesn't matter.

I don't think there are set criteria, which means that determining autism is a pretty haphazard thing right now.

Hell, if you're socially inept and really good at maths but nothing else they might tag you with autism, too, even though you might just be a modest nerd.

Yes, the autism epidemic is probably illusory and little more than a fad. It is just that the DSM is now so vague and overbroad you can make almost any kid autistic, and since it is in the news it has become a fad to think your kid has autism. The "explosion" in autism has no correlation or causation with vaccines of course, but does have correlation and causation with the changes in the DSM that make it incredibly easy to diagnosis people with autism. Oh and since there is no bright line test, it is not like HIV, autism even if diagnosed is not proven. Of course some people do really have autism but now it has gotten ridiculous. I used to be a socially awkward kid, in grade school I read books instead of playing with the other kids at recess. I grew out of it, but I almost certainly could have been diagnosed with autism.

To a certain extent, all modern drugs being pumped out there by the pharmaceutical powers that be can have serious side effects. Read the label the next time you take some pills. Yep, and yet vaccine use continues to decline, despite the fact that vaccines very clearly don't cause autism, and if they did, who cares? Exactly. If I had to guess, the autism rates have remained between .5%-2% of the population during the last century or so. It's just the rates of diagnosed kids just has increased. This is even more obvious when you realize that rates of diagnosed autism increase in developed counties and cities. Because that's where they are diagnosed.
Kids lucky enough to have access to vaccines are also kids who live close to people who diagnose kids with autism. That is literally the only connection between vaccines and autism.
