China still overwhelmingly practices its currency manipulation, and you need to look up what Japan does on things concerning automobiles for just one example. I'll grant you the Japanese were a lot worse back in the 80s than today, but the point remains.

Which I am not advocating, nor apparently is Rick Santorum. Some protectionism does not mean we're bring back Smoot-Hawley.
