What a bunch of wackos and losers on the Republican ticket. Sarah Palin should run too. Good luck.

Bush is a Republican I could stomach in office. He supports a legal status for undocumented immigrants, Common Core, and other moderate policies. I would never vote for him (as a firm Democrat), but I would hope he wins the nomination against the likes of Ted Cruz or the personally commendable but politically impossible Ben Carson.

I m a foreigner, I heard about Senator Ron Paul some times ago and lightly followed for my personal culture and interest, can you explain your view about Rand Paul positions, how do you look forward to have much different between then view despite encouraged - as obvious by his own father.
What was effectively Ron Paul stance in front of financing your public health, and about wall street legislation in terms of "Financial transition tax" (Tobin tax); if Rand Paul would have different politics, and the behaviour of Rand Paul in war politics and foreign relation is it most similar to mainstream Republicans, or despite it may follows its father view. thank you.

So Donald Trump just announced in what may have been the most entertaining announcement in recent years....This is going to be an amazing election cycle.

Why did Colbert and Stewart have to leave so soon....

But seriously, he stopped short of calling Bush and Rubio incompetent, then he repeated their talking points....

Of course. And it doesn't make electoral sense to say that one of the main reasons that America needs to beat the terrorists is because they're competing with him by building a hotel.

I personally think Donald Trump is a douchey blowhard. I wish his daughter Ivanka were running for President, I'd vote for her in a heart beat. That said some of your criticisms are stupid and here's why!

Greater vakolicci haven wrote:2300 HumVs were left behind for the enemy. No...no they weren't, they were taken by the enemy.

The only reason something is taken is because it's left, assuming that it wasn't captured while in use, which they weren't. They were literally just sitting there because neither the US nor the Iraqis had the organization and will to at least destroy them before abandoning them (which is pretty stupid on its face, they're fricken vehicles, they should have just drove off in them).

Their are no jobs. You're the CEO of a huge corporation. Make some.

The fact that he is indeed the CEO of a huge corporation is clearly indicative of the fact that he has made a lot of jobs. There are just limits on the viability of creating more without a solid purpose and business case. That's how the real world works.

Even our nuclear arsenal doesn't work. You tested it lately.

lol... I don't need to fire my sidearm every day to know that it works. While oversights have occurred, most of the nuclear arsenal is meticulously cared for and almost every if not every piece of it expected to be operational is operational in fact.

In hindsight it's kind of a viable alternative if it could have been reasonably deduced/expected that they would lack the cohesion and logistical competency to actually use them. Our whole timeline there was dumb as hell. We occupied Japan for 7 years, and that was a stable, orderly society, but we only bother with Iraq for 3? An artificial amalgamation of three cultures that hate each other in the midst of roiling issues throughout the region, and we thought we could give them independence again in half the time? We should have broke the place up, nursed each faction back to health separately, and not taken less than a decade to do it. We've been at this in one form or another for a decade anyway, it would have saved us a lot of bullshit if we'd just had the determination from start to finish.

And the government doesn't care about other people's money. That's why they shouldn't be trusted to be the provider of lowest-bidder, unaccountable bullshit services wherever possible. It just enables cronyism anyway.

I'm so queer it hurts (look at my sig FFS), and I'm still a welfare abolitionist. Also my wife is black, and she's just as libertarian. She often jokes about how people online think she's a white guy. People's assumptions about minorities, be they racial or sexual or both, "belonging" to some arbitrary political group as a monolith are the real racists, sexists, homophobes, and transphobes.

And yes, I know government contracts are ridiculous. But why the fuck did no smart guy with even a shred of technical experience think 'uhm...guys, this website is a bit too expensive. Why does it cost so much?'

Or we could have not gone into Iraq at all. Situation avoided.

Re: The 2016 Republican primary has arrived, who do you supp

I'll be voting in the Democratic primaries. That said, your most dangerous candidate (i.e., the one Democrats would least like to face in November of 2016) would probably be Scott Walker. He's also (IMNSHO) the one most likely to win the GOP nomination.

The rest (well, except for John Kasich; he's also dangerous) are all pretty much losers. Especially Bush 3.0.

Indeed. The beer and popcorn will be flowing continuously, even outside of football season.
