Frankly, Jeb seems as if he has few constructive and genuine policies, but he instead relies on cheap rhetoric. I expected nothing better. I really can't find a candidate I'd vote for.

Bush is a Republican I could stomach in office. He supports a legal status for undocumented immigrants, Common Core, and other moderate policies. I would never vote for him (as a firm Democrat), but I would hope he wins the nomination against the likes of Ted Cruz or the personally commendable but politically impossible Ben Carson.

In hindsight it's kind of a viable alternative if it could have been reasonably deduced/expected that they would lack the cohesion and logistical competency to actually use them. Our whole timeline there was dumb as hell. We occupied Japan for 7 years, and that was a stable, orderly society, but we only bother with Iraq for 3? An artificial amalgamation of three cultures that hate each other in the midst of roiling issues throughout the region, and we thought we could give them independence again in half the time? We should have broke the place up, nursed each faction back to health separately, and not taken less than a decade to do it. We've been at this in one form or another for a decade anyway, it would have saved us a lot of bullshit if we'd just had the determination from start to finish.

And the government doesn't care about other people's money. That's why they shouldn't be trusted to be the provider of lowest-bidder, unaccountable bullshit services wherever possible. It just enables cronyism anyway.
