That would be a fucking sad day for the USA. I mean, the USA is often painted in a rather unfavourable light on the international stage and a lot of the time, the USA doesn't help itself. But that would really be taking the biscuit.

Let me guess as to what happened that started this....

FOR ANTI-THEISTS
Trijicon Executive 1: You know, we need to seem more civilized, more like the people on the street, so we can help our boys in the war with their morale!
Trijicon Executive 2: You know what. Lets put on our gun sights some religious verse! That'll sure cheer our boys up!
Trijicon Executive 1: Yeah! And we're fighting against the Muslims, too! Put on some Bible verse and they'll be like those crusader guys!
Trijicon Executive 2: Good idea!

FOR ANTI-ANTI-THEISTS
Trijicon Executive 1: Well, now we've got to force our hand! We can't allow those damned god-botherers any more! Lets make a huge scandal! But how can we do it?
Trijicon Executive 2: Put on some Bible verse on the guns, and people will be hugely against it when it comes out!
Trijicon Executive 2: Good idea!

FOR NORMAL PEOPLE

Trijicon Executive: Eh, screw it. Lets make a few new models. Be sure to mark them with special numbers. Make it white so people recognize it easily and say "Boy, I want a Trijicon scope for my rifle!" before they get killed.
Trijicon Yes-man: Great idea, boss! I'll put it on right away!
FOR MAN WITHOUT EXPENSIVE SUIT, BIG BLACK MERCEDES, AND MASSIVE YACHT, BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN IS FOR PRETENDING OF BE RICH LIKE BLACK GANGSTER OF AMERICAN CITY WITH GOLD CHAINS OF LOW QUALITY AND JEWELS OF COLORED GLASS. WHEN YOU EXPLAIN USE OF BELGIAN FIVE SEVEN PISTOL IS ONLY FOR SHOOT MAN WITH BULLET VEST WITH CARTRIDGE ILLEGAL TO CIVILIAN, THIS MAN HAS NUCLEAR RAGE. WHOLE IDENTITY OF THIS MAN IS SPENT IN PRETEND PISTOL SHOWS HE IS RICH. IS VERY AMUSE.

Hey, Dash, why do they call it a hacksaw? It doesn't hack, that's what I was doing with the knife!

I was thinking more of foreign militaries which have bought this equipment. It's not their problem if law-abiding Americans who don't believe in the separation of church and state, and who want the campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan remembered as holy wars, kit themselves out with night scopes.

It would be kind of wrong for the US military to do that though. Protection begins at home.

What's the difference between this, and the fact that the Islamic soldiers on their side truly believe that Allah is on their side, and are stereotypically painted as screaming his name during, or before an attack? Why such outrage?
So goddamned leet: Rumbria is ranked 6th in the region and 1,337th in the world for Most Godforsaken.

In the 1980s the Soviets had more troops than any other country in the history of the world. About half of them were atheists.

You've missed the point of what I've said, willingly or otherwise, since I stated it pretty clearly.

There is no Soviet Union anymore, so the USA's hardly being the counterpoint them, is it?

I've mentioned that I found the pratice of putting the Bible references on the sights sinister, a bit about William Topaz McGonagal and that I thought that selling these sights is a monstrous idea.

Christians should be more upset about this than anybody else. But the media will focus on how this is a fight between Christians and "secularists."

I think the bullets should have "Jesus Saves" and ichthus (fish) printed on them. I think American Jesus would like his message delivered in an epiphany of blood. His word struck me like thunder and I was saved. I let Jesus into his heart at 400 yards. Blessed are the children struck by Jesus rounds.

Um, yeah. Some do describe Jesus so. I always thought it was a cheesy nickname, but it works in this context.

But the bullets have to be baptized (or something like that). How do we gather all the priests needed to do that?

Eh, we're already paying military chaplains. Make em earn their pay...they have to personally bless every box of rounds.

Just baptize them by the crate. Sort of like being healed by a televangelist by placing your hand on the TV.

How... bizzarre. Bible references have no place on weapons, why is it that the weird stuff nearly always comes from America? Bible references on guns... America, playing rock music in tanks whilst killing people... America.
