I don't have any problem with a company citing Bible verses on their products. There better be one with Exodus 15:3 on it.

However, the United States military should make a point out of not buying these products because, as the Tripoli Treaty put it nicely:

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion...

Then again, there is "In God We Trust" on the greenbacks. It's probably best for public relations to remove the citings, but the military isn't very secular anyway. I appear to have debunked myself.

Although, being compared to the IDF doesn't exactly help their chances of not "stoking religious tensions"

Great shot!

They are in the system. You may not have access to them, but they are in use.

Americans and guns are like the British with tea. Its cultural. We don't expect you to like it, understand it, or accept it. We do, however, expect you to respect it.

I wonder who uses the other ones. I really like the chevron, as not only is it an ACOG but that nice red chevron makes it still useable in short range reflexive fire. When we did reflexive fire a couple of months ago I out shot my Ranger buddy and his Eotech with my ACOG. Of course he's old enough he wears bifocals (he seriously passed sniper school last year wearing bifocals) so that may have something to do with it...

To me, this kinda sounds like the Crusades. Except much more modern...

I mean, you go in and kill Muslim Extremists with these things? That's not going to look "good" on our reputation.

Please take note, I am a Catholic, and I go to church every Sunday. But this is ridiculous.

Israel doesn't pretend to be a secular state.

They sort of do.

They are doing a worse job of it than the US.

And we're doing a shitty job as it is.

I'm in the same boat as you are there. People doing this stuff makes us look like nutjobs.

Chevron isnt as precise, but is 'better' for combat shooting. The way its set up, if you put the chevron on the target and squeeze, you'll hit them out to 300 m without having to compensate for drop. If you sight it in according to the manual.
