I don't really care about the SEC. My main concern is the ACC and my once glorious 'Noles. Oh well, our time shall come again some day.

Florida is straight up Football, like a lot of Deep South States. You're either for the heritage (Florida State), the moment (Florida), or a football team with more criminals than Congress (Miami). Oh, and South Florida piques a bit of interest when they come around once every twenty five years.

You know me too well.
I have no reason to root for FSU, yet I do, simply out of loyalty and family ties. And the fact that I was born under a Florida State National Championship.

My apologies, I should have researched it.
However, compared to the US, it has a negligible fan base, and within my particular region and pretentious friend network, Nascar conjures images of a trailer park, Marlboros and Ted Neugent. That's obviously an exaggeration, but it certainly is associated with the deep south, and 4 hours is still dreadfully long to watch cars drive in circles.
Regardless, subjective as hell, we all enjoy our fair share of weird shit.
