Anxiety disorders are among the most common mental illnesses, so it makes sense.

Basically, I'm a Christian Deist and I believe in a clockwork universe. However, I also believe that there is some form of life after death, because I do not understand how someone's non-material essence can be extinguished. I believe that only way to truly transcend reality is to die, but this should not be forced. I believe prayer is still worthwhile for reflection, to ask for guidance, and to say “thank you”, but not to make petty requests that cannot be granted anyways. I believe that religious traditions that do not exist in nature are optional but some of them can be helpful, although some others are inherently harmful.

There, I said it. I hope that I do not regret saying it.

The most common being depression, right?

I think so. There's a lot of co-morbidity between the two, naturally. I don't think I've ever been clinically depressed but I will say that when it was at it's worst, my GAD did have me feeling really down.
