I think you're being a lot pre-judgmental about the place based on stereotypes of how left-leaning Latin American republics are like.

It's not like a little Europe, and Chile and Uruguay often have better quality of life (as do many of the super-white cities in Rio Grande do Sul, Santa Catarina, Paraná and São Paulo, but I'd never live there), but it's quite nice.

I don't think you've been paying attention to this thread.

To be honest the Falklands look extremely British nature-wise and not really what you'd expect from a South American island archipelago. :p

I am a moderate right winger; I don't like the extremes. However, Chile has never supported any other South American country. If you have money, you can live really well in Chile. If you don't you are fucked. And if you are middle class? Well, you will have to work really hard for the rest of your life to be able to live normally.

I was thinking that these xyz people in some former British colony and were working for the British government and were white British people.

You thought that, because you were prejudiced.

And, it is not trickery.

It is using an example, a different scenario, to try and explain a principle. An analogy, a metaphor, an attempt to communicate the idea that other points of view on an issue exist, and why holding a particular view might be something you should change.

If you believe that examples, analogies and metaphors are "trickery", because you were caught out by them, then, that is unfortunate, as it shows you have a very, very closed mind, and refuse to contemplate even the possibility that other points of view may exist.

which, given that:

The second main principle of Jainism is anēkāntavāda. It refers to the principles of pluralism and multiplicity of viewpoints, and to the notion that truth and reality are perceived differently from diverse points of view, no single one of which is complete.
Anekāntavāda encourages its adherents to consider the views and beliefs of their rivals and opposing parties. Proponents of anekāntavāda apply this principle to religions and philosophies, reminding themselves that any of these—even Jainism—that clings too dogmatically to its own tenets is committing an error based on its limited point of view.

I find surprising.

Case in point, that guy right there.

But anyway, it's not India's fault if they're racist. After all, it's only because those villainous Brits with their giant twirly mustaches brought it there so that they could laugh at poor people fighting each other.

That's bad they should've at least kept a small population for conservation purposes.
But I guess sheep are quite crucial for the lives of Falklanders. :C

They could have idk shipped them to Tierra del Fuego??? But it was easier to just poison them.

This is 99% of my spite about the islands.

When I hear of ethnic Brazilians doing shit in the Amazon I have a very strong desire for the Indigenous peoples to slap them really hard because I feel it as being just the same.

I know, but I guess at the time of the extinction people didn't really care about animal rights. :C
What's happening to the Amazon is indeed crucial, but no one pays as much attention as is needed. Cutting down the rainforest will have worse implications in the environment than china's rampant dirty industrialism.

Now how about Argentina?

"In the last decade Argentina experienced a process of wage inequality reduction."

"Poverty reduction and increase in the poorest quintile's share in national income."

Furthermore, primary, secondary and tertiary education are totally free in Argentina and so is healthcare. Argentina also has the highest pensions in Latin America and in the last decade the government launched lots of new welfare subsidies and social programs. In Argentina, poverty is not institutionalised. Moreover, historically Argentina always had (and still has) one of the lowest inequality rates in Latin America.

You haven't given me an actual inequality rate. You have given me sources that it has decreased.

I don't think you can doubt that a minority political elite control Argentina.
