Yeah, Apartheid was basically "reverse racism", but it no longer exists, nor does any other form of Minority dominating the Majority; to my knowledge of course.

Yes, reverse racism cannot exist, but it is because blacks cannot discriminate against whites.

I guess blacks have magical powers or whites are just cartoonishly evil.

I think I should form a chart:

In terms of social vanity:

=========White

Black =========

Therefore, if a black person thinks that a white person is inferior, then the white person's vanity is then equal to the black person. Thus, the black person cannot be racist, based on your standards, unless he is very racist or if the white man is not vain.

Of course it is. A black person thinking white people are inferior is just as racist as a white person thinking black people are inferior.

Racism is about power; racism is institutionalized. A black person thinking a white person is inferior is prejudice - not institutional racism. The white person isn't seen by society as inferior, doesn't have to try twice as hard to get half the recognition, etc.

But black people do not think that whites are inferior. Often, they seek equality and tend to bring reality to racist whites, a reality that they cannot handle. Racism is about perspective, but racism is internal and institutional. Racism is not an action!

Thats a blanket statement and totally untrue. I've been treated differently on the job because I was the only white employee of a dollar store in a majority black town. Isn't it racism when a black customer calls me a cracker and refuses to let me check her out based on skin color alone?

But black people do not think that whites are inferior

Horseshit, there are certainly black people who do or did think that. The founder of the Nation of Islam taught that white people were created by a mad scientist and are a race of devils. Even Malcolm X, before his conversion, believed that black people were genetically dominant.

There is a difference between institutionalised racism and just racism. The former is racism, the latter is institutionalised racism. A black person thinking white people are inferior, is still a racist even if the society he lives in in skewered towards a white persons favour.

Yes, reverse racism happens, and yes, it's bad, but minorities generally lack the institutional power to enforce their will, and so reverse racism isn't as big a problem as conventional racism.

Under Apartheid, black Africans were the minority. In sociological terms, which are what you use to discuss racism, a Majority group isn't necessarily a numerical majority. Majority refers to power over the society as a whole, not numbers.

There is no official authority that defines what is correct English, so correct English is defined by common usage. Racism is commonly used to mean "racial prejudice" without any requirement that it fits into your paradigm of dominant or marginalized groups, institutional power structures, etc.

It was hard enough for me to learn English when it is so different from RNA. Please do not make it harder by redefining words.
