Of course, the problem with that is that it assumes that we're not going to have ignorant people attempting to revise history to what they consider "acceptable" on the national level. Would you trust, say, a George W. Bush appointee to create a curriculum for AP History?

History doesn't have a liberal bias, history doesn't have any bias. As for the crux of the issue, I am a firm believer in states rights, so Oklahoma is perfectly right in doing this. I've heard bad things about the AP US course, so that is good too.

What the actual fuck? Not patriotic? It's history not a fucking propognlanda class. This is completely outrageous, and is reminiscent of something a totalitarian government would pull: banning something that doesn't glorify the state.

I sincerely hope this is not going to last , as I'm not even sure it's constitutional.
