Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Well there's a rather egregious boo-boo. I have no doubt this'll be used as fodder against him later down the campaign trail, and rightfully so. Terribly irresponsible thing for him to do.

No, he supports legalizing cannabis, but only at the state level. Common Republican cop-out.

The "tough on crime" issue (which he does not follow, opposing minimum sentences and the like) tends not to lead to that. As I said before, it is more establishment vs. anti-establishment then conservative vs. liberal.

Apparently. I looked hm up some more and found he could rather easily become a social conservative if needed. Had he actually been a libertarian I might have considered voting for him, but if he runs on such a platform I guess I will vote for Hillary.

I don't see Hillary not winning nomination barring her death or medical incapacitation.

I saw her winning in 2007, but then 2008 some black no name senator pops up and then you know the rest. The nature of politics is always subject to change, and Democrats have had time to forget that Clinton isn't very liberal. So they might be disenchanted once she starts to campaign with her hawkishness and center-right opinions. Also...we haven't elected an East Coast Liberal since Kennedy. Cuomo doesn't have the best record either. I don't think he could appeal to the electorate, he's just a New York Governor, not FDR.

Well I am a foreign-policy hawk, but she does have corporatist influences and is solidly establishment. The only competitors are Warren(too left-wing, and just not president material) and maybe O'Malley, who doesn't have an "edge" and is only not super establishment because he is less powerful.

Warren isn't running (not competition) and O'Malley needs to get known before he can compete. I don't like making age a factor because sometimes it doesn't matter, but for several decades now Democrat Presidents are under the age of 55....Clinton would be 69....Democrats don't vote for old candidates because they're the party of the young. O'Malley has the edge of age. Corporatism is going to hurt Clinton, especially in post-recession America.

Yes, Warren would just be playing second fiddly to Hillary.

O'Malley is the only serious competition, as long as he can get himself known, as you said. Biden is just a joke at this point, he would be entering with a truckload of gaffes worth 2 presidential elections.

At this point during the last cycle, Obama was on the horizon, and people were pressuring him to run. The only person like that now is Warren, and she doesn't even come across as flirting with the possibility. I suspect that Clinton's camp is going to promise her the moon to stay out, and besides, I don't think that she wants the job. She's far more effective in the Senate than she would be in the White House.

I just find it hilarious he lost the popular vote by 300,000 but still stayed in because of how the election worked.

He might be considering a presidential run just because he probably won't win re-election.

I wish I was that confident, but after the recall and this past election....

That's the idea - he lost the popular vote on a recall, and only won by winning the rural counties and republican strongholds, and if such a trend stays he doesn't stand a chance getting reelected.

According to Wikipedia, he won the popular vote with a greater margin than he did the first time, and he's already been reelected once.
