I feel like a thread like this should exist, where people with different nationalities should discuss various things about their nationalities, where they should explain what stereotypes bother them, and things like that. You can also discuss political things about your RL nations, and anything that is tied to RL nations and nationalities.

This, of course, will be discussed in a friendly manner, and I everybody will keep it civil, and I also hope nobody will be racist. Let's try not to get this thread locked down! Also, this is ONLY REAL LIFE, NOT NATIONSTATES RELATED.

I am also curious about other people's nationalities. I think and hope this thread will improve relationships between NSG community.

I'm a halfbreed between italians and germans.

I'm a Fujian Chinese with an amalgamate of other bloods in trace amounts. Currently living in Singapore.

I can't really trace back my line with absolute certainty, but I did find out that my paternal great-great-grandfather was a construction boss by the name of Lim Loh.

Interesting! I am mostly Romanian, even if I have Russian, Ukrainian, Moldovan blood in me.

In which case, I am Chinese. That's as far as I know or care to know about my ethnicity.

I am for 1/8 German, 1/8 Belgiananother form of Dutch and have a distant Spanish origin from the Eighty Years War, a French grandmother of a grandmother.
And a Italian married family in law. And a few Dutch-Swiss people.

But I am 100% dutch if you count three generations.

I've had Dutch family who lived in Singapore for a short time too

It's something to do with language I guess. Native English speakers + people from countries where English is learnt at a young age will be much more numerous here in NS than those from countries where English is less relevant.

Not something that's really bothered me very much, TBH. I've spent almost two decades (i.e. my entire life) here, and the gum law is a non-issue, at least, to me.
