People, this is a thread about ancoms v ancaps. Not about your ignorance of anarchism. Please GTFO if you are a silly statist with no real thought processes and just wants to force taxes on me through a barrel of a gun. Thank you.

Good thing that's not how taxes are enforced and we obviously do have thought processes if we are able to respond to statements in correct context.

Taxes ARE ENFORCED THROUGH THE BARREL OF A GUN.

JUST GET OUT OF THIS THREAD OR I CALL MODERATOR.

Just saying.

So we'll have this currently state-sponsored and state-regulated thing called the internet, that'll everyone have access to and check for the latest frauds and that somehow stays alive in the absence of regulation, and we also have some investigative private army that can track down people and strip them of their stuff, but it's totally not a police and totally won't just arbitrarily rob people of their stuff, I mean it's only a bunch of guys with guns without regulation holding them back, when did that ever go wrong?

The IRS doesn't come to your house with a swat team for tax evasion, they just foreclose your home and freeze your assets.

No one has ever been executed for tax evasion in the 21st century

In all honesty I just think people would form a new state rather than go all out with this anarchism stuff so I tend to stay away from the evil corporations argument.

Engineer, here.

The tractor's failure would depend upon a multitude of variables, including but not limited to: climate, type/quality of fuel, whether preventative maintenance had been done on said tractor, possible manufacturing errors, operator error, etc.

Yes, that was sort of my point.

Both preventing this, as well as dealing with it, requires an extensive network of trust. Currently, we have trust that can be enforced through courts and regulation agencies. Ancaps want to replace this with "good business sense", it seems, which is rather lacking in comparison. I presume that ancoms want to replace this with having good faith that everone else wants the best for you, so you'll also want the best for them. Which is also rather lacking.

I guess that's another way to express the difference: Faith in business against faith in people.

I'll stick with putting my faith in law, it tends to be more reliable than either.

Ancoms do not advocate this or believe this. You are incorrect in your presumption about what we want.

Law is very reliable in robbing you blind and throwing you in jail and damaging business. But that is besides the point.

Do you believe ancoms and ancaps can put aside their differences and fight the state is the point.

JUST GET OUT OF THIS THREAD OR I CALL MODERATOR.

This is the General forum. Anyone who cares to can participate. There is no thread ownership. You do not get to call who does, and who does not get to take part in a debate. You also do not get to threaten other players with 'if I don't get my way, I will sic the mods on you' statements and think to get away with it.

*** Warned for using Moderators as weapons ***

I think we'll give this thread a bit of a chilly-down. If another moderator is inclined to reopen it, I am not against that. I however, will not be around for the remainder of the night to watch and reopen. You're free to make a request in an hour or two in the Moderation thread where this was reported - which is not, mind you, the place to argue your case further. It can be used to ask questions about the warning and closing, and appeal if necessary. Thank you.
