That's the thing with these threads. There is always someone who you think is older than they actually are.

What? How old did you think I was?

Ne'ermind.

Considering both Hanns Eisler and Bertolt Brecht were 1890s kids, I'll happily agree with this sentiment :p

God I feel old.

Oh God. I'm sorry, but the 90's were nothing special enough to be worth remembering. The music was bad, and the movies were mostly subpar. Perhaps the best thing the 90's have going for them is the cartoons. They were stupid, yes, but pretty cool.

Indeed. You should have been out driving drunk to polling stations and what not when you turned 18.

The next day we went out to survey the damage and found out the tornado had destroyed our barn. Worse yet it must have picked up our horse, because horse viscera and innards were draped across the wreckage.

My first memory was shit, is what I'm getting at.

Why do I find the horse viscera bit funny?

I am a horrible person.

Could have been worse, could have been cow viscera. Which probably looks the same, but there'd be more of it.

Yes, except no (see the argument above). It doesn't really matter (it's just a decade after all) but the term does need some consistency of usage and I maintain that describing myself (born in mid-1995) as a 90s kid is misleading. Therefore, describing someone younger than me as such is more misleading.

Indeed. I'd put being "90's kid", being born between c. '84 - '91, with earlier being "truer" in a sense.
