Fox News Hosts Video of Jordanian Pilot Being Burned Alive

So Fox News actually did something I support for once.
By not showing these videos, we are sugarcoating the horrors that they are inflicting upon people.

From what I know, the FCC doesn't have as much control over what TV channels show as they used to.
So CNN, Fox, MSNBC, BBC, AJ, CSPAN, etc. should be showing these videos as soon as they come out.

If people aren't forced to watch what these fucking monsters are doing, they won't react.
That, and by making it clear how terrible they are, we might be able to slow the stream of possible recruits leaving our countries.

And to people who claim we shouldn't show them because that's what they want us to do...
We have fucking 24/7 news stations talking about them every hour.
They are already our main focus in the news, showing the videos would only help rally people against them.

I don't know... the Middle East and Africa are in a bad place right now with ISIS and Boko Haram.
Something has to be done.

What do you think about Fox showing the video, NSG?

So did FOXNews claim it was Obama's fault, or that it was an All Muslim Barbeque Party?
Crimes committed by Muslims will be a pan-Islamic plot and proof of Islam's inherent evil. On the other hand crimes committed by non-Muslims will merely be the acts of loners who do not represent their belief system at all.
The probability of one's participation in homosexual acts is directly proportional to one's public disdain and disgust for homosexuals.
If a political figure makes an accusation of wrongdoing without evidence, odds are probable that the accuser or an associate thereof has in fact committed the very same act, possibly to a worse degree.

Blaming Obama is the default position. It's his fault for not bombing these people back to the Stone Age when they first showed up, plus anyone else in Syria that we don't like. Doesn't matter that such an idea coming from the White House had a snowball's chance in hell of getting past the House.

I can understand how they would have wanted people to see the true evil of ISIS, and the OP has a point in that we are already "playing into the terrorists' hands" by talking about it 24/7. Might as we'll show people ISIS' true evil.

I don't think they should have, since this is what ISIS wants us to do, but I don't really care if they do it. The overall effect this will have is minor. If anything, I have to hand it to Fox for showing this on daytime Television. How in the world did they get this by the Execs?

My stance is that we should air those videos. Not to do so would be pure ignorance; Show the people why we must fight.

Leaving aside Fox news' motivations, I would say our media gives too much attention to Isis.

But since the attention is already there, yes. The video should have been aired to demonstrate the depths of their depravity.
