I'm actually kinda happy he's not left-wing. Honestly I love the Democratic Party (for the most part) as is. I do have some problems with it's foreign policy platform. But aside from that. Better center-right.

And while I'm significantly more to the left, that just doesn't seem to fly in America, so I'll grudgingly accept that for now.

I agree, but, as a rabid social libertarian, I loathe the NDAA, Guantanamo, NSA, and Patriot Act extensions he's continued.

No party, candidate or platform is perfect. And I tend to view those who find themselves agreeing with somebody or something 100% of the time to be a fanatic. I'd say I have a concern about all of those things as well (primarily their becoming public), but I think it's healthy to have criticisms and concerns. Especially if you're a supporter.

Well yes, of course. Those are my actual concerns. The Dems need a backbone and to grow some balls (or vagina...come to think of it, those are actually tougher). I don't oppose their polices, but I just really want to see them use the techniques the New Right has used to undermine them.

Except for the last one, I kinda want to see them try those just to spite them. Then again, I'm a fervent cynic and these are terrible for democracy. In the perfect world, these tactics wouldn't exist. But I have to admit, seeing an angry Obama is my wet dream...actually, it's more like a fantasy but you get the idea.

He's a libtard communist, remember Obama Care (which predictably was a flop). He's attempting to influence the young generation with lofty socialistic promises that he can't keep, such as promising to eliminate the debt. Well surprise! You can't eliminate the debt by taxing the rich into homelessness... And his approval ratings show that people are finally WAKING UP, and don't want to be sheep.

He is most definitely not right wing people...
'Preach the word! Be ready in season and out of season. Convince, rebuke, exhort, with all longsuffering and teaching. I charge you therefore before God and the Lord Jesus Christ, who will judge the living and the dead at His appearing and His kingdom: For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, because they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn their ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables. But you be watchful in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, fulfill your ministry.' (II Timothy 4:1-5 NKJV)

While Republicans are busy dislocating their shoulders to pat themselves on the back for their great midterm victory, Obama seems to have been paying attention to the fact that the said victory came on the backs of the most abysmal turnout since Hitler was still trying to build his Third Reich.

So I think Obama's aggressiveness since the midterm, executive action on immigration, the thinly veiled criticism of the Republicans throughout the State of the Union etc., are a recognition of the fact that the problem isn't that Republicans are actually winning anyone over to their side, it's that Democrat voters don't believe that he or the Democrats in Congress are actually willing to fight for the things they elected them to do, and so are staying home on election day.

That said, there is a fine line they have to walk. Yes there are a lot of bitter angry Democrats who want to see the party stand up and fight, but they can't just turn into carbon copies of the Republicans for the last 6 years, because "we're just like them" is not an election winner with both the White House and control of the Senate on the line again in 2016.

We'll see if the rest of the Party follows suit.

That and democrats tend to not vote as much during midterms

Realistically that's true, but according to the poll, some people accidentally clicked the first choice rather than the second...

Center-left on some things. But he and Romney are basically the same.
Which is why 2012 election was basically picking between the shiniest of two turds. It also gave fire to the people who say America is a one-party state masquerading as a two-party state.

Hahaha so that allows them shoot him across classifying him as a right wing?!

Not saying you're incorrect, because you aren't; I'm just finding that people actually find him right wing very hysterical.
