He's deported more illegal immigrants than any president in U.S. history.

And whose idea was the watered down stimulus? Oh well, at least conservatives can look at the wild success of austerity in Europe and dream of what might have been.

Also, his regulatory budget has been significantly lower than Bush's.

I don't live in the United States, but I do hear so often about the people in the States who "hate" Obama. I would like to ask a question, despite this thread already having a question: Do all of the people who say that they hate Barack Obama truly hate him, or is it his politics (or, unfortunately, his skin colour) that they hate? I'm very interested in the reasoning behind all of the hatred for Barack Obama.
There are those because he tried to do socialist things for the lessor people.
There are those because he didn't subscribe to trickle down economics.
There are those because he continued stuff of the shrub.

Seems legit to me.

Modern economic theory most commonly adopted by US republicans. In their mind, it means that greater deregulation of industry at the 'top' of the wealth pyramid means more jobs, by which the income gained trickles down to the middle and lower classes. Alternatively, it's the idea that taxing the rich equally to the rest of the people means that the extra money they have will be spent on goods and services performed/made by the middle and lower classes, and will thus trickle down as well.

Please refer to me a politician or economist who has ever advocated this "trickle-down economics".

I love it when the stupidest political views go at it.
Obama is just like Bush, just like Clinton, just like Reagan, just like Carter, just like Ford, and so on.
They are all statists who enforce arbitrary, unjust laws.

This is the dumbest thread I've made yet, but still I'd like to talk about it. As we all know Obama has consistently low approval ratings. I for one see no reason to hate him so much, everything he passed was bipartisan, and none of it seems to have caused economic catastrophe. I believe that all this hate against Obama has been caused by populist conservative media that can't tolerate anything that isn't on their standards, and even Liberals now want to jump on the Obama hater wagon by saying he's not leftist enough. Of course I don't think Obama is flawless, liberals expected him to be flawless in 2008, and that obviously hasn't happened. The point here though shouldn't be to just praise him though, I would like this thread to be varied with reasonable criticism from our left and right wing friends on nsg.
