I believe in reincarnation and God isn't this strict man that says you must follow these 10 major rules or you will burn in hell. I believe he accepts homosexuals and reincarnates people or send them to heaven or hell. I think those who have committed true acts of sin such as, murder, rape, racists, etc, with be sent to hell. Sort of like Hinduism but not.

I'm an atheist. I'm of the opinion that when you die, your consciousness ceases to exist. Effectively, you as a person no longer exist.

Sort of how when you fall asleep or fall unconscious and the next thing you know you're awake the next morning, with no memory of dreams from the in between period.

The in between period is death, and it lasts forever.

No, it's not. Our bodies are broken down to base nutrients which are in turn recycled and used by Mother Earth. I'm okay with that, at least in death I can be useful to our one and only planet.

Even as a theist of sorts, I'm comfortable if that's the end, and there's no afterlife as the major religions would have it.

Eastern Orthodox Christian here.

The fullness of the faith lies in the Eastern/Oriental Orthodox and Anglican/Roman Catholic expressions. The rest are heretical schismatics.

What about High Church Lutheranism? It's sort of like Anglo-Catholicism, but Lutheran instead of Anglican. Is it heretical?

By careful study I have concluded that you die.
Sheltton wrote:I believe in reincarnation

Why? I've never seen anyone reincarnate. I also haven't seen any (valid) evidence that this is a thing. Just a ton of bad philosophizing. I'm not even sure that you could call it wishful thinking since it's functionally indistinguishable from reality for the individual.

Now that's classical wishful thinking.

Agnostic.

To me, generally speaking, atheism and theism both take equally as extreme positions in their declaration to know whether or not a god/gods exist.

There is simply no way of knowing. The process through which a being would become a godlike entity might be possible, who knows, the universe has had several billion years for something to evolve to that point. So in that sense, I definitely think there's highly evolved beings out there somewhere, I'm not crazy I promise, but as for whether or not they're "gods" and whether or not they'd care at all for our tiny planet and those who live on it: unknowable.
I'd like to believe there's an afterlife because that'd be quite pleasant, assuming Christianity isn't right and I'd go straight to hell. But again, there's no way of knowing so I've effectively given up on the god question. I'm just trying to enjoy the existence I have right now while it lasts and let others worry and toil over the existence of god.

So many people choosing other. Is it just that the Neo-Pagans don't want to pick Traditional (To be fair, this faith isn't always traditional for them), or do we have more Baha'i, Sikhs, Druze, and Unitarian Universalists than I thought?

Also, I'm Roman Catholic.

I consider myself a Secular Buddhist. I follow the general teachings of Gautama Buddha, as I believe that they lay a great framework for a happy life, while dismissing supernatural or superstitious elements.
