I agree, but Israel's civilians are not at fault, their government is. I'm sure if the Israeli people could see what their government was doing, they would be appalled. I think the DPRK doesn't recognise the State of Israel because of such crimes.

Hate to say it, but this is a prime example of the reason the Middle East and anything to do with Islam will never be anything but trouble. Peace and reconciliation, never going to happen. The very fact that the various versions of Islam see the others as enemies to be destroyed should be deeply troubling to them and certainly troubling to others. It says the fighting will never stop.

The inescapable cluster-fuck of it all is that both sides can and do claim that their actions are in defense of their people and/or in retaliation for previous transgressions/atrocities/outrages.

Both sides are right and wrong. Neither will admit it. Thus it ever goes.
