If "metaphysical gravity" is not just a metaphor, then it's a falsehood incompatible with modern neuroscience.

I'm thinking the specific point of Fuller's comment is that its irrelevant to scientific concerns. Science kinda doesn't give a crap about metaphysics.

Then Fuller is wrong. Emotions like love are not at all irrelevant to science. Fields of science such as psychology, neurology, ethology, anthropology, sociology, and evolutionary biology have an interest.

And when a man and a woman love each other very much, the power of their love overcomes other metaphysical forces and crushes the two together in all-consuming vacuum and abyss from whence there is no escape.

And we call that "parenthood."

Its all just a complicated version of the same old response to stimuli, anyway.

This thread is about evolution, abiogenesis and all of science vs ID.

Talk about love somewhere else.

It is a discussion. Love is an emotion - it really isn't all that relevant to the discussion currently going on.

This particular thread is about evolution (and other sciences) and ID/Creationism, thus what we are talking about has be related to that topic. If it isn't it needs to be in a thread of it's own. Love has an evolutionary advantage. If you disagree please explain.

Actually it might have to do with the discussion if the person is claiming the feeling of love would not exist in a universe with evolution.
